I live in Iowa and our wise Democrat legislators and governor thought this was a good idea and so implemented this Utopian plan to coerce smokers to quit and also raise all kinds of wonderful additional revenue at the same time.

Iowa borders SD. The northern counties in Iowa were profiting from SD smokers coming to Iowa to buy their smokes and gas and other items.

Then came the Iowa tax. They took a big economic hit.

Since the Iowa tax has gone into effect, the reports are that Missouri is profiting greatly from Iowa's stupidity.
