A thought came to me earlier.
I wondered if illegal immigrants are counted whenever the statistics of employment are tallied. If so...what would the unemployment rate look like if illegal immigrants were discounted from the final total.
It makes me wonder...anyone have any ideas?

Many consider it not to be accurate. Sort of like the current bogus report from the government on inflation.
And all those people who buy and sell bonds are losing money because they don't know the real rate of inflation like you do? Do you think these people just take the word of the government for what the rate of inflation is and then blindly buy and sell bonds? Don't you think they have access to a lot of information of their own and use that information to verify what the government reports? Or, do you think they just accept what they're told, invest billions anyway, just so they can lose money?
When illegal aliens take jobs, they are placing a strain on the unemployment benefits which non-working Americans would not have to collect if there were more jobs. Another fact to consider, by taking the money illegal immigrants earn, back to their own country, they cause a reduction of secondary profit. This means that money earned will be spent on products outside the United States, thereby decreasing tax profits for the government.
Also, immigration raids in many states have revealed expanding underground business that uses identity theft to provide documents to illegal aliens, where they can readily collect benefits. These documents are stolen from actual American citizens.

I totally agree with your point. The vast majority of Mexicans who come here come here to work, and work hard. These are the exact type of immigrants we need here in the US. But they need to come LEGALLY and welcomed. This is why illegal immigration sucks, because 5-10% or more of this population are criminal thugs who aren’t screened out by coming here legally and getting background checks on them, etc. In the small 40,000 population town in Indiana where I lived, the police blotter was just filled with these lowlifes. They ruin it for the vast majority of illegals. Too bad the illegals can’t dole out a little vigilante justice on these creeps who are making them all look bad.
That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. You’re saying that the unemployment rate among illegal immigrants is lower than among the public at large.
