EASTER In DECEMBER/SYMPATHY SNOW: Week 67- Olney,MD 4-07-07: Operation Infinite FReep
April 12,2007

Posted on 04/12/2007 8:45:00 AM PDT by trooprally

Playing on some old sayings, the Olney FReepers were disheartened after temps were in the upper 70s earlier in the week. Our well wishes go out to those who received the brunt of the cold, snowy weather this past weekend.

BELOW LEFT: Early dawn in Olney. BELOW RIGHT: Snow at our corner. The wind and wet conditions, and that we just wanted an easy FReep, kept us from setting up all our banners. We only set up the all weather/wind blue with yellow ribbon banner.

Freepers and Lurkers in attendance (6) this Good Saturday before Easter are: iMacMan, (iMM), GunsAreOK, Kristinn, Lurker Bill, (aka Lurker Bill from MD on Walter Reed AARs) , Iwo Jima Vet Glenn, Trooprally (Mrs T) and myself (Mr T). More than I had expected because of Easter. THANKS TO ALL WHO SHOWED UP.

The moonbats had 7.

Pics are by iMM and [Mrs] T.

I really like iMacMan's new sign. With us directly opposite the moonbats, vs at Walter Reed where are signs are distinctly Support the Troops, signs like his are welcomed and very pointedly against the leftists.

BELOW LEFT: iMacMan's new sign, in his right hand. BELOW RIGHT: Iwo Jima Vet Glenn, [Mrs] T, and Lurker Bill in back ground. Glenn was visibly affected by the cold in that towards the end he was shivering. but he was determined to stay until the moonbats left. He said that only once in the Pacific did it get cold enough that he drank coffee to get warm. The Marines just didn't have cold weather gear out there.

BELOW LEFT: Glenn heading on over to our corner. BELOW RIGHT: Glenn with GunsAreOK, iMacMan and Kristinn.

BELOW LEFT: Early arrivals. Lurker Bill, iMacMan and me in far back ground. BELOW RIGHT: Wave from car. iMacMan originally didn't take pics, but as the waves and honks grew, he took some pics of the cars. Unfortunately, its tough to focus and click a moving vehicle that you don't know will have a waving passenger. This was the only one printable this week.

BELOW LEFT: Guns and Lurker Bill.

MOONBAT (aka Grumpies) CENTRAL

BELOW LEFT: Idiot moonbats still have not learned. The wind was too great today, not friendly for banners. And they still have not figured out how to make a sign that won't fall apart in the wind. After more than a year, one would have thunk how to keep the sign together. They didn't earn the name "moonbats" for no reason.BELOW RIGHT: Gotta GO!

REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney
NEW TIME - 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM

I think I’m in the mood for a double freep this week. Cant wait to see everyone Friday at Walter Reed and Saturday in Olney.

Special thanks to those of you who did three freeps in a four day period (Walter Reed on Friday, Olney on Saturday, and the DC egg hunt on Monday).
