Fred is toast. The last thing we need to give the Clintons is more ammo for their DBM friends to use against our candidate. How many “medical experts” do you think they already have on speed dial who will come on and talk aobut how debilitating Lymphoma can be. There will be a least one Hallmark, Lifetime, WE movie about dying from Lymphoma, Oprah will bring on the spouses of people who died from the disease and CBS, NBC and ABC will all write cancer storylines into some of their hour long drama.

I was looking forward to seeing what Fred could bring to the discussion, but he is not a viable candidate at this time, sorry.

Oh for pity’s sake...does that also disqualify Rudy and McCain?

How about if you listen to Fred @ 4 pm with Neil Cavuto on FOX?

Say what?! Just who is NOT toast by that standard? This is a minor issue at most. Can you think of anyone who would have voted for Fred Thompson but would instead vote for Hillary just because his health is worse? Please...

I think his “illness” can benefit his candidacy.

Sad to say but lots of people vote because they sympathize and because they have survived it either as victims themselves or as witnesses to others who have survived.

And there are millions of those.

I think Thompson would be a great President.

You'll pardon me if I laugh out loud at your post.

Fred is not toast. Boy, you sure do jump to conclusions quickly. Sure the Clintons can dredge up some “experts” to talk about the debilitating effects, but the one thing they can’t do is say that it has done so to Fred. He has been very active since this surfaced. Fred came out with this to headoff the naysayers. It is why there have been experts talking about how he can have a normal life with this. Not all cancers are the same. And his is very manageable/treatable.
