The War Against The War On Terror
Liberals Cost Lives ^ | 4-8-07 | MissEdie

Finally, Liberals have found a war they have the courage to fight: a war against the War on Terror. Now they don't want the phrase "Global War on Terror" even to be used when talking about fighting terrorists. They want it dropped from political discourse. Of course, what we all know is they want the War on Terror to be stopped completely, not just the use of the phrase.

They are not just fighting on the home front in this campaign. They are also fighting overseas. Fresh from stabbing our troops in the back whilst back home in the US, Pelosi now goes to Syria to cosy up to one of our enemies, and stabs the troops and our administration in the back from over there. There can be nothing worse then having a House Speaker go overseas when your country is at war, and have them meet with the enemy. A country that assisted Iran in providing weapons to Hezbollah during its recent conflict with Israel and that has assisted terrorists in Iraq. A more blatant act of treason it is hard to imagine. The only surprise was that she did not visit Iran on the trip.

Whilst Pelosi is giving comfort to our enemy, Harry Reid is calling for funds to be cut off for our troops should Bush veto the Bill as passed by them earlier. Reid and Mullah Feingold said "Congress has a responsibility to end a war opposed by the American people". Very laudable if it wasn't pure sophistry. The American people are overwhelmingly in favor of the strict enforcement of immigration law and against the offer of amnesty to those already here. We don't hear Mullah Feingold arguing for what the American people want on that issue do we?

During this time there were 15 British military personnel being held hostage by Iran and we have Liberal darling Rosie O'Donnell supporting Iran. She only dare speak the words Liberals really believe. I wonder if Pelosi didn't call old Mahmoud in Tehran whilst on her trip. Fortunately the Brits were released. Maybe Pelosi promised them something in return, like no opposition to an Iranian nuclear weapon from a future Democrat administration.

More embarrassingly for the US, Pelosi went to Syria and lied about what the Israeli's told her about their view of future talks with Syria. Lied about it. Whether she was trying some crooked scheme of personal aggrandisement or maybe she is just that stupid, or more likely, she is just a liar, she tried to put the Israeli's in a bad position. The Israeli's came out and denounced her and right that they should. That should make them beware of any "support" they will get from a Democrat Congress and a future Democrat administration.

What to do about Liberals that behave like Pelosi, Reid and Feingold: I leave you with a quote from Abraham Lincoln:

" Congressmen who wilfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged."

Those were the days!!!!!!!

As much as I like the quote, Linclon never said it. It originates with J. Michael Waller's "Democrats Usher in An Age of Treason," Insight magazine, 23 Dec. 2003.

I have seen that quote attributed to Lincoln before, elsewhere on this site, so I guess there is some confusion as to where it originates.
