With the partisan media, we miss that kind of grilling of *all* politicians, to our detriment.

Chuckie not going to WRAH? Why should this be a suprise? He never responded to our request with help to secure service records that were misplaced.

If Chuckie knew that there were news cameras in WRAH, he would have been all over it. The most dangerous place in Washington, D.C. is between Chuckie and a TV camera.

I'm sure that the list of Dims that has ever visited Walter Reed is quite short.

Good for Imus. Where the heck was the Congressional oversight, Chuckie?

It goes for all the Congress critters who sat on Grandstand Committee of the Week, with their feigned outrage.

So many thousands of wounded have filtered through the VA system over the past four years. Yet, none of the critters were aware of problems. This means none of the thousands of wounded or their families bothered to contact their critter with complaints. They were completely unaware.

BS.

I agree... I'm sure Chuckie thought this was going to be a breeze, just tossing jokes back and forth, and he ran into the meat grinder. Nice to see that Imus can be relevant every once in a blue moon or so.

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y.and Sen.Tom Harkin, D-IA are dishonest liers. Their sick minds get our soldiers killed. Imus is just a cowboy-hatted shill for his own ego. When folks like that interact I will leave the room and bar the doors. However, media suck-ups are letting this crap spill into the streets and brainwash the many like minded fools. I hope they destroy each other. They certainly have the tools.
Our Commander and Chief, President Bush is NOT one of "them." I have more faith and trust in him than any lib, rino, or demorat.

Next week, Democrats will announce a boycott of the Imus show, after the biased way he treated Schumer.

Moveon.org, DailyKos, and Democratic Underground will be pleased.

Biography

In 2004, New Yorkers re-elected U.S. Senator Charles E. “Chuck” Schumer to represent the State of New York in the U.S. Senate for a second-six year term. Chuck started off his second term by being appointed to the Democratic Leadership team by Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). Chuck also earned a seat on the Senate Finance Committee, which oversees the nation’s tax, trade, social security and health care legislation.

GOOD to know he's "fighting" for the Veterans, eh...???

Imus: We elect you people to do this and none of you have been truthful with us, and none of you have done your job. In your case, you haven’t even been over there. I mean, Senator McCain apologized yesterday for not knowing about it. I, by the way, don’t exclude myself from all of this, because I’ve been to Walter Reed and I’ve raised tens of millions of dollars to build that new Center for the Intrepid down in San Antonio, and I didn’t ask any questions either, but I wasn’t elected by anybody.

A defining moment in that conversation. I am not a big fan of Imus. He broadcast from here in New Mexico on his ranch every morning. I can barely stomach his voice, much less his rhetoric some days, but THIS is a slam-dunk on Chuckie.

As the saying goes, "even a blind hog roots up an acorn once in a while."

The Godless Left does not understand the courage of combat soldiers. They fear and resent it.

A fundamental pillar of liberalism is jealousy. Thus, they ultimately avoid, and work against those exhibiting what they cannot understand and ever hope to possess. Sometimes, it is morality, often it is perseverance and hard work, in this case it is bravery.
