Dims are too busy plotting and planning to destroy the country, take our freedoms, and back stab our military to do anything patriotic.

Chuckie Cheese claims he's been to lots of VA hospitals, all over his state.

Visitors have to sign in, don't they? A bit of research could prove this true or false.

Imus: We elect you people to do this and none of you have been truthful with us, and none of you have done your job. In your case, you haven’t even been over there. I mean, Senator McCain apologized yesterday for not knowing about it. I, by the way, don’t exclude myself from all of this, because I’ve been to Walter Reed and I’ve raised tens of millions of dollars to build that new Center for the Intrepid down in San Antonio, and I didn’t ask any questions either, but I wasn’t elected by anybody.

A defining moment in that conversation. I am not a big fan of Imus. He broadcast from here in New Mexico on his ranch every morning. I can barely stomach his voice, much less his rhetoric some days, but THIS is a slam-dunk on Chuckie.

As the saying goes, "even a blind hog roots up an acorn once in a while."

The Godless Left does not understand the courage of combat soldiers. They fear and resent it.

A fundamental pillar of liberalism is jealousy. Thus, they ultimately avoid, and work against those exhibiting what they cannot understand and ever hope to possess. Sometimes, it is morality, often it is perseverance and hard work, in this case it is bravery.

Imus has been there one stinking time and he wrings every drop of 'I support the troops - you suck' that he can.

"schumer is a putzhead."

in schumer's case, putzhead may be a compliment.

I'm sure that the list of Dims that has ever visited Walter Reed is quite short.

Except for the ones admitted for substance abuse rehab...

To find out if Chuckie Cheese went to the VA, say in the Bronx, call th TV stations and ask if their video crews were ever there. The only way Chuckie goes anywhere is with a TV van. So no TV, no VA visit. QED.

"I think the fact that NYS has about 21 times the population of Montana might have something to do with the disparity in number of VA Hospitals. But I could be wrong."

Thank You for obviating the painfully tedious.

What may bring stunned amazement to you is that Montana has one of the HIGHEST per capita enlistment rates in the country and also our Reservists and National Guard have done MORE than their part in Iraq/Afghanistan.

OUR in-state funding keeps dropping and facilities have been closed. WE are largely dependent on VA "clinics". I have to make the 400-mile round trip to Helena, for instance, to have a 20-minute checkup performed on my defibrillator, etc.

[100% Service Connected Disabled, USN 1967-70]

Our facilities are wholly inadequate.

Skimmed the POS in the 70's. Let's see....

FROM those who can (or will), TO those who can't (or won't).

That's about it.

Completely counter to basic human nature, and thus permanently doomed to failure, as history has tragically shown, and apparently must show again.

Exactly. I'm a big fan and I've tried to figure out how he does it. I think it's because he listens to what the guest is saying rather than thinking about what he wants to say. The fact that he's say just about anything to just about anyone helps him too.

The fact that he says . .

proofreading, like interviewing, is an art.

I used to listen (watch) Imus's show almost every weekday by channel surfing between Fox, Imus, and CNN.

I got to know the "routine" of his show pretty well.

Chuckie is hillary's lap dog. Imus HATES hillary. That's why Imus nailed Chuckie.

Imus will make sure he BURIES hillary. When Imus did the Correspondent's with bill & hill and FRIED billy jeff SO BAD that the crowd was afraid to REALLY laugh, he's had it in for the clintons.

Whoever ends up being the Republican nominee for 2008, BUT ESPECIALLY RUDY, he will almost be assured 24/7 - 365 "face time" on Imus.

Imus will try his best to make sure hillary goes down BIG TIME.

To use a quote from the I-man:

"hillary just can't suck enough"

Good for Imus. Where the heck was the Congressional oversight, Chuckie?

I agree. I watched this interview and Chuckie tried to infer that this all was exposed because the dems are now in power. Imus cut him off and said it was because Dana Priest did the story in the WaPo(which is sad but true) and the dems were just trying to glom onto this. Schumer admitted he hadn't visited Walter Reed since BEFORE the Iraq war.

Say what you want about him but Imus was the force behind getting the new Center for the Intrepid built in San Antonio with donations from himself, his friends and thousands of private donations from around the country. He's done more to care for our returning wounded Soldiers than anybody I know about. Imus was in the Marines. He jokes that he played the bugle while there, but he was (is) a Marine.
