I've said it before and I'll say it again...
I absolutely despise the inhumane way Muslim Male Society treats its women. If I had one wish, I'd send all Muslim males "to the cornfield".

Their laws are based on some nomadic tribal justice. If they want to be taken seriously on the world stage, they had better get up to speed.
Right now all of them from their most educated and highest placed, right down to the lowest of the low in Saudi society resemble the most ignorant of humans.
It isn't even barbarity. At least one could reason with barbarians. It's sheer mindless idiocy and a deep seated hatred of women.

And this isn't the "fringe 10%" some people claim are extreme. This is the justice system in Saudi Arabia. How much more main stream Islam can you get?

"deep seated hatred of women."
I read something recently that postulated that the Muslims actually fear women, and fear the power that they might have over men if allowed to get out of control.

Saudi police 'stopped' fire rescue
Excerpt:
In March 2002, fifteen girls were killed (and more than 50 injured) in a fire at their school in Mecca. Because only women were in the school, they had shed their outer garments, and when the fire broke out, they fled the building in that condition. The Saudi religious police (the muttawa) fought to chase them back into the burning building, preferring their deaths to any public displays of immodesty. The muttawa battled the police and firemen who were trying to get the school's doors open.
