If you were Libby's attorney, would you object that a former Washington Post associate would serve on the jury in Washington D.C.?

I have absolutely no sympathy for Libby. I didn't buy the "I forgot" defense (come on - one of the sharpest Beltway lawyers "forgot"? Not bloody likely.)

Memory loss that increases with age is extremely bloody likely. It is also depressing, and annoying, and frightening. I recommend that you avoid it.

Jury selection is more art than science. If the attorney thought the guy might be objective - and even someone who understood the wheelings and dealings in DC - he might want to keep 'em.

Libby had one of the best defense attorneys in DC. He lost fair and square - with a pathetic defense.

You didn't answer the question though. I assume you know the Washington Post history. Any attorney would I would think.

I thought this trial was about whether or not LIbby lied to the FBI agents conducting the investigation and had nothing to do with 'outing' Plame ?

Untwist your panties and give me the facts I asked for. Then we'll talk

Are you too stupid or too lazy to get them yourself? You do know how to google, etc. You can find the court docs cant you? You are just wanting to avoid facing facts. Spin on Babe.

Libby, (G. Gordon) Liddy. What's the diff to a Washington Post employee in the jury box conducting his underlings?

"I do not rely upon my memory for anything."

Never forget the real importance of Gen. 2:18! Every one thinks it was for sex. WRONG!!! It was for socks. Honey, where's my socks 'cause men have more important things to do than remember....except birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's day, Mother's Day........

Did you know he was with the WashPost before today? Did I miss that?

It was brought out in voir dire. If you liked that you'll love learning (unless someone else pointed it out already) that he was a neighbor of Russert's until very recently. I have no idea how he managed to be kept on as a juror.

I've seen addresses - classified. the address of a building, classified. we had to mail them something, we didn't know if it was legal to fill out the mailing label, because the address was in a classified document.

"I forget."

Do you know why refrigerators have inefficient doors on the front instead of the cooling efficient doors on the top like the old ice boxes?

To hold all of the little yellow post it reminders that your help mate stays up all night writing.

So that's where they come from. And I always thought it was the memory fairy.

Uh oh, Did I say fairy?

Oh well, its off to rehab.

Lifting up Scooter Libby and his wife and children in prayer this evening. That the Lord will bless them with the strength and faith to cope with this extraordinary challenge.

Problem is three days before talking with Russert, Libby asked Fleischer to leak Plames identity to the press.

No, Libby asked Fleischer no such thing. Further, Ari didn't leak it to the press until he read the INR memo days later. Then one reporter he says he told denies it and one reporter Ari said he didn't tell says Ari was his source.

See the problem here?

His opening statement portrayed Libby as a "victim" of Cheney's office. It was utterly stupid as a strategy.

I was thinking someone would have corrected you by now but since not I'll point out you are wrong. Cheney was portrayed as supporting Libby all the way.
