What an uttely ignorant comment from yet another pretend Conservative You reaction to this comment is simply totally without any base in political reality.
I'd say something about John Edwards, but if you say 'faggot' you have to go to rehab."
IF you think all this HELPS Edwards, why have the Democrats NOT ever been politically hurt by their daily REAL hate speech directed at President Bush?
I'll tell you why. Because the faux Conservatives do the Democrats dirty work spend all their time going into hysterics about what their own side say instead of ever finding the guts to take on the Democrats on anything. So Conservatives get their PR brains pounded in every day all the while the Surrender Now types are busy saying to the Democrats "thank you may I have another"

Spare us the fake moralizing. The very vigor you are pushing this issue shows you are reacting emotionally and personally for some reason. Your ever comment is a personal slam directed AT Coulter. You hate the lady. Too bad for you, get over it.

You don't go out to the press before the game and say, "Their QB is a sissy." That's just basic, simple, common sense. Too many here on FR don't seem to know how to win. No, YOU don't know how to win. You do not win the most powerful job in the world by running around screaming "whaaa, Ann Coulter was mean to me". If Ann makes Edwards cry, what is Putin or Kim Il or the UD Congress going to do to him? You Ann haters are kidding yourself to the edge of mental derangement if you think this HELPS Edwards outside of far Left political circles. It makes him look incredibly weak and not Presidential at all.

Spare us the fake moralizing.
Who's moralizing? I just said she made a stupid and childish comment, which she did. I also said her work does not meet the standard I would expect to see at CPAC, and it doesn't. If you like what is produced in her genre, more power to you; I just find it terribly sophomoric.

More "only true conservatives" speak up! It's so funny, "anyone who doesn't agree with me is a fake conservative!" Ya'll "only true conservatives" are a hoot.
Do you know why it's a bad idea in sports to insult your opponent before the game?

Edwards has no hope of winning anyway, which makes Coulter's comment all the more ill-judged.

Isn't this the same man who refused to fire prominent members of his campaign staff who had really offensive things to say about Catholics and Catholicism? I think Ann set Edwards up here.
If it meant his poll numbers would go up, Edwards probably WOULD become gay.

Believe me, most men would go run and hide at the sight of her if it wasn't for the fact that she has a hard-on for hating liberals.

Oh please. Spare me the bluster and the arrogant lecturing. You clearly have NO clue at all how to win elections except for Democrats. You do not win by spending all your time sniping your own in the back like you do. You faux Conservatives are about the most PR inept people I have ever met in my life.
Edwards looks incredibly weak right now. Running around crying "Ann Coulter was mean to me" looks incredibly weak. Try reading a little history. NOT ONE Candidate has EVER won anything playing the "Pity poor me card". It looks like desperation.
It mere wishful thinking from you faux Conservatives to think this helps him in the least

Clearly, you're much better at influencing people with your words than I am. I never realized being so rude and insulting to people who disagree with you would be the way to go!
Do you understand why it's a bad idea to insult the other team's players before the game?

Ann's comments will be the boost that Edwards needed for his campaign. You know, that hadn't occurred to me, but you're absolutely right. It's free publicity for him, and all favorable. Anyone looking closer sees a family man, still on his first wife, though she's of a bovine aspect and she's had a brush with cancer. Whereas some of our potential candidates...
I fear Edwards, and have long believed he will win the nomination. Now Coulter has thrown a spotlight on him and he's going to look virtuous.
I guess she doesn't take him as seriously as I do. Americans have elected the likes of Carter and Clinton, and they've come perilously close to electing Kerry and Gore, so there's nothing terribly outlandish about putting John Edwards in the White House.
As for Annie, if she wants headlines that bad, I guess "faggot" is quicker than, say, riding a horse naked down Pennsylvania Avenue, but she'd have gotten better press doing Godiva.

A tale of four Edwards houses
Until last month, the Edwardses owned four residences. They have since sold two.
RALEIGH
On Jan. 12, the Edwardses sold the 6,224-square-foot home in Country Club Hills where they spent most of their adult lives for $1.46 million, according to Wake County records. That was less than their $1.9 million asking price. It was purchased by Gordon Smith III and his wife, Beverly. Smith is a magazine-fortune heir and co-founder of Exploris children's museum in Raleigh. WASHINGTON
In December, the Edwardses sold their Georgetown mansion for $5.2 million to Paul and Terry Klaassen, founders of the nation's largest assisted-living chain for the elderly. The Edwardses had purchased the federal-style house from socialite Polly Fritchey in 2002 for $3.8 million. The house had been on the market for 18 months; the original asking price was $5.6 million.
FIGURE EIGHT ISLAND
This is a gated, oceanside community in New Hanover County near Wilmington. The 2,778-square-foot house, built in 1989, has had a tax value of $1.03 million for the past eight years.

Figure Eight Island Real Estate
This private, peaceful ocean side haven offers bright blue waters and long stretches of beach, and is home to notables like Al Gore, John Edwards, and others who relish seclusion and natural surroundings.
