Chavez Should Be Named The “Environmental President” **BARF ALERT**
Political Affairs (CPUSA) ^ | 1 Mar 2007 | Eva Golinger

“We are an oil producing country and that obligates us to take even more care of the environment—on an extreme level—and to avoid contamination, and to reduce contamination in all areas: earth, water and air.” – President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela, February 24, 2007.

Did anyone from Greenpeace or Earth First! ever imagine that the world’s first environmental president would come from Venezuela? Many Greens might find such an idea ludicrous considering that the South American nation is one of the largest oil producing countries in the world and a major resource for heavy mineral and coal mining. However, ever since Hugo Chávez Frías first won office back in 1998, he has been developing a very green conscience that simultaneously is reflected in the nation’s policies and social programs.

The Chavista apologists for the dictator are desperate to climb aboard the global warming bandwagon and paint Hugo as a nature lover. Eva Golinger is a paid shill by the Chavista regime and has extensive ties to the Cuban Castroite regime. She's writing in the communist party usa magazine but these claims will eventually spread to the mainstream media, which gets its cues from the fringe press. Golinger is the Tokyo Rose of Chavistadom.

Chavez could poor all of his oil into the Atlantic ocean and Gulf of Mexico and the same leftist scum that are "for the planet" would sing his praises because he and they hate GW Bush.

It's indeed a sick world we live in today.

Just the idea of the cocaine-addled, ever-fattening, red-shirted Chavez as a 'nature lover' is putrid.

Yes, another fine specimen of the human genre. He ranks right up there with Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Castro, yes all the fine scumbag dictators, thugs and genocidal specialists.

Of course he is environmentally friendly. By the time he is finished with his country the majority of the population will be walking everywhere while a few elites get cars.

Okay. Stop selling oil. Do you know how much 'global warming' and pollution the use of that material causes? Of course, you won't be able to finance all your social spending if you don't sell oil, but the environment is more important, right?

No way.

I just returned from a cruise and unfortunately one of the stops was Isle Of Marguerite, Venezuela. This was one of the worse *hitholes I think I have ever seen. Tijuana was a paradise compared to this island.

Chavez is a genuine environmental president, as is Mugabe. After all, any Marxist's greatest accomplishment is to destroy an entire economy, thereby ending greenhouse gas emissions.

One need look at the environment in eastern Europe after the USSR fell to see how 'sensitive' the commies truly are.

According to one Aleksander Boyd, a Venezuelan exile living in London, Golinger set up an organization that she falsely claimed on a website to be tax exempt, which when Boyd called her on it she changed her website, but he had already gotten the screenshots showing the false claim, she has also palmed herself off as a member of a professional Immigration Lawyers' group when she had never been a member, claiming that her "firm" was a member, except that the group only has individual members, and claimed to be licensed to practice law in New York when she was not.

Also it appears that she no longer maintains the fiction that she is independent from the Chavez Regime.
