Emitting carbon into the atmosphere is wrong not because it is going to cause the ice caps to melt or the sea to rise, but rather due to the inefficiencies of buying fuel only to have so much of your spending go "up in smoke." If they would do as Dr Crichton said and not look at this so emotionally I think we could easily cut down on carbon emissions as an economical benefit.

The whole thing is too wrapped up in socialism and emotion.

Let the market, not the UN, fix global warming.

Sell me an engine that is powerful, rarely breaks down and is extremely fuel efficient and I'll buy it. We'd be hard pressed to find any one who would rather have some noisy smoke blower in its place.

I'd really like to save money on gasoline, or whatever will push my truck. Add to that the benefit of sticking it to the Gulf Oil Islamo-Empires and Hugo Chavez, and I'm sold!
