No, he neither lost nor "bailed". The man had prostate cancer and had to undergo treatment. It has killed his father and there was no way he could have or should have ignored it and no way he could possibly have run a campaign while undergoing treatment.

I believe that Rudy had prostate cancer and was forced by this to cease his campaign for the senate seat. See how polite I can be - no invective, no ad hominem, no snarling?
