Is George Bush the worst President in American history?

No. He was dealt one of the ugliest hands in presedential history, though ... the attacks on 9/11, the ensuing war on terror (a very expensive one), an economy making the adjustment to wartime and the price of oil, etc. How he has managed to keep his sanity is beyond me.

Don't forget how the Democrats blocked nearly every confirmation of every appointment that Bush tried to make when he got the Presidency. He spent as much time fighting them then as he does the terrorists now.

He certainly was handed a pile of crap, not along by Carter and Klintoon, but his own father and yes, even St. Ronnie the Perfect, who all punted on Islamofacism.

I see Jon Carry saying we should "engage" the crazy mullahs in Iran, and I say, no matter how low Bush goes in the public eye, at least that clown isn't President.

His faith keeps him sane. The left hates him. The media hates him and part of his base thinks he failed them. I agree with you he was dealt on oe fht ugliest hands and I dare anyone in politics and Hollywood to tell me what they would have done in that situation. It's very easy to be an arm chair quarterback. As for me, I am standing by Pres. Bush. He is doing the best he can with what he was dealt. I do differ on immigration, but then again, that's another huge, unpopular problem! God bless Pres. Bush and God Bless America is what I say!

You forgot Bush had to deal with the biased media and the traitorious "Leftist opposition" that would rather have us to lose to the Islamofascists just to prove Bush "wrong".

I won't say GWB is the worst Pres., there are many who have a greater claim to that distinction, but I do believe that without 9/11 he was a one-termer like his dad.
