Associated Press has revealed that Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Democratic candidate for President of the United States, attend a Catholic school in Indonesia registered as a Muslim, further clouding the issue of where Obama was schooled in Indonesia and when. Obama, by his own admission in books that he has written, has said that he attended a Catholic school and a Muslim school while living in Indonesia with his atheist mother and Muslim stepfather. But now that Fox News reported that Obama may have been indoctrinated in Islamic teachings while attending the Muslim school in Indonesia , he and his handlers have gone spinning the story to the news media, and their stories do not match up.
Obama is claiming that the allegations by Fox are “scurrilous” and that he believes people “recognize that the notion that me going to school in Indonesia for two years at a public school there at the age of 7 and 8 is probably not going to be endangering in some way the people of America.” Associated Press is reporting that the Muslim school Obama attended is a public school, open to people of all faiths—this according to the spokesman for Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious affairs who goes only by the name of “Sutopo.” Records show that Obama attended a Catholic school first and then the Muslim school. When he was ten years old, he moved to Hawaii and attended a private secular school.
There are many holes in Obama’s story. First, if he attended the Muslim school when he was seven and eight, which school did he attend when he was nine and ten, if he first attended the Catholic school? There appears to be a gap in his education or a miscommunication about what school he attended and when he attended it. Associated Press reports that Obama’s mother relocated to Indonesia from 1967-71 after marrying Obama’s Muslim step-father—who Obama claims was no longer Muslim, but an atheist. The Catholic school, Fransiskus Assisis, where Obama first attended school, enrollment documents, however, show Obama enrolled as a Muslim, the religion of his stepfather.
Obama’s spokesman Robert Gibbs says he isn’t sure why the Catholic school document had Obama listed as a Muslim. Gibbs told AP, “Senator Obama has never been a Muslim.” While the spokesman is denying that Obama was never a Muslim, Obama, himself, has not publicly said he was never and is not now a Muslim.
What can Americans expect of a Muslim-educated Obama? AP writes of its interviews at the Muslim school in Indonesia, “Those tied to the school say they are proud to have had a student like Obama, and hope that, if he is elected president, his ties to Indonesia will broaden his world perspective and his views on religion.” Indonesia is home to some of the most radical Islamic schools in the world. And Obama’s identity is yet to be revealed as the confusing doubletalk hides the real Barack Hussein Obama, Democratic candidate for President of the United States .

The Catholic school document has him registered as a Muslim nore than likely because that is what his parents registered him as. Certainly at 7 or 8 he wouldnt be registering himself.
If they registered him as Muslim that is more than likely what they wanted him to be.

Especially after having read Robert Spencer's book, this account doesn't seem to make any sense at all. His mother (an atheist) moves to the largest Muslim nation in the world after having married a Muslim, puts her son in a Muslim school, and Obama asserts that his step-father was actually an atheist? Muslims kill with the greatest fury Muslims who leave the faith. Why would he, being an atheist like his wife as Osama-Obama says, move to a country where he and the family could be so prosecuted and executed?

I read that his stepfather was indeed also a Muslim, but the excuse Obama used earlier, is that his education has been directed by his Mother, who was an atheist.
If he were a believer through faith in Christ, any doubts could be resolved immediately. Another reward in heaven appears to be left unclaimed, left as an eternal memorial of his foolishness in not proclaiming our Lord Christ Jesus emphaptically as his Savior and keeping Him in faith through all things.

An atheist mother in a Muslim marriage in a Muslim country would not be likely to have had a real say. If she did then she must have been quite extraordinary, at least with respect to luck.

All of the big-government kooks that have been running our country for the last 25 years, this is what we got.
Ronald Reagan was the last semblence of sanity that has seen. Bush I didn't really carry the Reagan mantle; Clinton was a socialist (and chauvinist) pig; and Bush II has been, well, disappointing regarding our country's direction (other than doing a better-than-average job addressing a more-than-difficult war against terrorists).
So, in 2008, Hiltery and Obama will be elected and the slide towards total socialism will only pick up speed.

Of course he is. Any candidate in today's political climate that wouldn't strenuously attempt to prove their allegiance by direct evidence is, de facto, a dissembler and liar. As a RAT, the expectation is that the MSM will carry their water and cover their tracks.

I tend to agree. He has a scary background and is making scary statements. He's likely running to get media air and face time for messages and agendas he and others want the MSM to print and broadcast.
Sorry Friend, but extremists (cough, cough) like CVengr are correct. If Senator Islam claims to be a Christian (a proud member of the UCC), then Biblical tenets would demand an account of his faith as a witness. Of course, the UCC is widely held as apostate by most Christians that hold to Biblical doctrine. Under that interpretation, his actions would be consistent with what CVengr said. If he's a stealth Muslim, like I believe, lying is just part of the game - again, no testimony, no faith.
They operate as a "nation within a nation" until such time as they can convert everyone else at the tip of a sword if necessary.
60 Minutes just had a segment on Obama...and never once even mentioned that he went to school in Indonesia..let alone a Muslim school...
The consequences are extreme.
This has been known for weeks. When they were denying he went to a "radical" school. His own staff said they didn't know why the paperwork showed him enrolled as a muslim at the Catholic school.
Blamed it on a "clerical" error. Or his dad.

They did just have the national prayer breakfast. Perhaps we can check the video tapes to see if Obama gave any public statements of faith after he got done with his bacon and eggs?
