Landmark Legal Foundation Nominates Limbaugh Nobel Peace Prize

Landmark Legal Foundation has nominated syndicated radio Talk host Rush Limbaugh for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

Limbaugh was nominated for the award for his "nearly two decades of tireless efforts to promote liberty, equality and opportunity for all humankind, regardless of race, creed, economic stratum or national origin. These are the only real cornerstones of just and lasting peace throughout the world," said Landmark President Mark R. Levin.

“Rush Limbaugh is the foremost advocate for freedom and democracy in the world today," explained Levin. "Everyday he gives voice to the values of democratic governance, individual opportunity and the just, equal application of the rule of law – and it is fitting that the Nobel Committee recognize the power of these ideals to build a truly peaceful world for future generations."

If Rush were to somehow win (absolutely IMPOSSIBLE, given the far left makeup of the Nobelites running that scam), I would love to see him do one of two things:

a.) refuse to accept it, saying that to accept an award from an organization which went out of it's way to give the same award to Jimmy Carter would be an affront to any sense of human decency, or:

b.) accept it, step to the podium and say "On behalf of the memory of the late President Ronald Wilson Reagan, who was instrumental in winning the Cold War, and securing freedom for the former Soviet satellite nations of Eastern Europe, I accept this award and will deliver it to former First Lady Nancy Reagan, to be displayed at the gravesite of our honored 40th President"

As much as I would enjoy (a), I would thoroughly enjoy (b) because those America-hating freaks would have a mass stroke and keel over.

Ahhhh, if we only lived in such a world where such things could happen. ;)

Al Gore must be furious! Still, Rush's chances of winning are zip, zero and nada. Heck, Liberals may even sue to remove his name from consideration for their prize.

Mark Levin nominated him to make a statement. This is why he is known as The Great One.

I think the mass stroke would occur when the news of Rush winning came out. The Reagan statement would serve to finish off any lefty survivors.

Why all the snickers? Rush has forgotten more about how government works than Jimmah and algore will ever know. Also, what's wrong with believing in a conservative for a change? The Norwegians have lost their way regarding what is right in this world...Don't forget, Quisling was a Norwegian!

Rush "don't want no stinkin' award" .....from a totally discredited group of elitist socialists.

Rush is in a league of his own.... the All American League...and we plan to keep him.

In 1938, this man was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize. From that time on, the NPP nomination ceased being a meaningful honor.

What happened to the nomination process being secret? Nominees are not supposed to be named. Their identities are supposed to be sealed for 50 years.

I think this outing of nominees is a slap in the face to the Nobel process. Publicly outing your nomination should be grounds for retracting the privelege of nominating anyone.
