I think they meant after the President.
Correct..! The VP is first in line to succeed...The Speaker is second in line to succeed..!
Sick and tired of Congress using the military like their own private airline. Wanting to take her family on a military flight should be forbidden but I have no faith the WH will turn it down.
It costs the AF mega bucks to do these flights and they don't get paid even a fraction of the costs.
Makes me mad all over again at the folks that wanted to teach us a lesson and gave us these nitwits in power. Cannot imagine the poor pilots that have to fly this scum.
Fuhrer Pelosi is an Annointed Uber-Rich Dem Elitist, and she DESERVES those free rides to her Dascha after a tough, 3 1/2 day week at the Politburo!!
She is drunk with power and must be stopped some House Republican should confront the speaker
Perhaps someone should inform this self-important arrogant bitch Pelosi that United Air Lines has non-stop flights between Frisco and D.C. I hope the TSA put her on the "No Fly" list!
Let her take off her shoes and get hassled like
every other schmuck.
But those are just details....
The fact is, she wants to take FULL advantage
She is a multi, multi, multi millionaire...she can pay for her own private jet.
There is NO REASON that taxpayers should spend ONE cent for her or anyone else to fly just to go home!
If Congresscritters are going to foreign countries..that is one thing..but, just to get back and forth from their home states??? NOPE.
Sources told The Washington Times Pelosi wants to use the aircraft for herself, staff, family and other members of the California delegation for the commute between Washington and San Francisco.
I assume that she doesn't intend to pay for the flights. Maybe she just wants to avoid the airport security checks that all the rest of us have to endure because she's a very special lady.
I am glad you reposted that statement ..she wants other members of the California Delegation to ride free on Military planes?????
Civics lesson time:
First in line of succession - VP (Dick Cheney)
Second in line of succession - Speaker of the House (Nancy Pelosi) - how that pains me to type!
Third in line of succession - President pro tempore of the Senate (Robert Byrd) -hack, choke...
Fourth in line of succession - Secretary of State (Condoleezza Rice)
Fifth in line of succession - Secretary of the Treasury (Henry M. Paulson, Jr.)
Sixth in line of succession - Secretary of Defense (Robert Gates)
etc...
Tell her the only thing available for her ride to SF in is a fighter. Show her that little button to hit when she wants to communicate with the pilot and see where she ejects. Maybe over a red state that she doesn't know exists.
vaudine
Kind of sad that she has been sworn in for how long? And she is already so swollen with her new found "power" that she is lined up to abuse it....
And there are no Republicans anywhere with the nads to stand up to her...

California has 53 delegates...is that what Pelosi hope for..free rides for them too? What about their families also?
You are correct, but I shudder she got her precedent from the the last crop of RINOs.
Nancy, SPEND YOUR OWN MONEY AND STOP ACTING LIKE A WELFARE QUEEN.
I disagree on that only because it is not uncommon for businesses to fly employees home for a few days when on extended business trips. I would agree with coach or business class tickets every 6 weeks or so - for her. I expect Pelosi is looking for unlimited, frequent above executive class travel for her, her extended family, and political cronies. We all know that it's the arrogance of power that motivates her. W will approve this in a second.
