Thanks. I saw that earlier, but it was a mad dash around here during all of this...the phone, the TV, the doorbell.

When I've really thought about who did this and why they did this, I can only think of one word. Cruel. It was just such a cruel thing to do to innocent people going about their business. That's the same thing I thought about the bakery bombing in Israel on Monday.

For a movie promotion. Here is exactly what is wrong with America.

Cruel? They were just trying to promote their show. The interference was the result of overreaction on the part of the LEOs, not the promotion of what appears to be a rather strange show.

No reasonable person could have foreseen a freaking "light bright" making the cops go on red alert.

See, the point is that the marketing ploy wasn't INTENDED to create a terrorist scare hoax - you've read too many of the early stories and not enough of the later ones.

Really? I can think of a whole lot of words. Ignorant. Stupid. Mindless. Simple...oh wait, you're talking about the person who put the signs up? I thought you were talking about the police and the idiot that actually called this in to the authorities. Oh well in that case. Brilliant. Cutting edge. Marketing genius. He has created a buzz for the movie in groups that had probably never heard of this cartoon.
