U.S. offiicals charge Iran is supplying explosives used to make the roadside bombs causing 70 percent of the deaths of U.S. troops...70%! That is unbelievable! If accurate it means that a significant portion of the total insurgency is Iranian in origin.

Why would they be released?

There's no widespread support for an attack on Iran... Yes, we must not anger the demoncraps. We must wait for Iran to set off nukes in this country before we are allowed to take any action. And then, of course, that would be Bush's fault like everything else.

During pointed questioning, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told Negroponte, "What I think many of us are concerned about is that we stumble into active hostilities with Iran without having aggressively pursued diplomatic approaches, without the American people understanding exactly what's taking place." And just what does Obama think we could say to Iran to make them stop killing our men? "Please stop!"? Oh, I forgot, he is a liberal, therefore the seas part at his very word! I get so tired of hearing liberals pound the drum for diplomacy when diplomacy is based on two things: shared interests or shared values; we share neither with Iran, so far as I can tell.

So we are holding a report back because we are worried how Ahjimanut will react? What named "official" said this?
To: Zack Nguyen
That wouldn't suprise me at all. Tonight on BOR the military guys said this group involved in the "incident" this week even had on uniforms of some sort and we very well equiped and trained.... also had inside info of some kind and after attacking and killing Iraqi's and some of ours stole one of our important computers.

Maybe some day the WH will decide it's important to the war effort to stand up to democrat lies about the relationship between Saddam and AQ There is a show down of constitutional powers going on right now with Congress and the President
But I agree .. the President should throw down their cards and tell congress to act on the information or not
These games need to end

Drip drip drip. The Administration is slowly bleeding to death. The inability to effectively communicate and to publicly counter the Democrat and MSM propaganda has hobbled so much of what President Bush has wanted to accomplish. Now the stakes are life and death on a massive scale

Yeah, and the Democrats don't want to hold Iran accountable; they'll go after Bush as a warmonger and he'll still have to deal with this. He's going to have to fight the Democrats and the Iranians to protect the soldiers and other service members in Iraq.

Admitting that Iran is pushing us around, while simultanenously not being able to do anything about it, is a lose/lose proposition. I'm very much afraid you are exactly right.
I just watched a segment on O'Reilly talking about a Trojan horse operation run against us in Iraq that resulted in the kidnapping and murder of US troops. It involved 4 or 5 SUVs (later abandoned!), US weapons, US and Iraqi uniforms, fake Iraqi (maybe also US - not sure about that) ID. Obviously it took a lot of money, planning, preparation, training, and resources to put that together not to mention a secure location. Iran is the only power in the region that has the wherewithal to pull that off. Baker and the majority of the senate and congress want the US to talk to Iran rather than bomb them. The world is upside down.

Bill O' Reilly. He will be rerun on Fox in an hour. The bodylanguage segment tonight was all on the SOTU and was interesting.
