Countering the United for Peace and Justice Moonbats in Washington DC
Post at The Redhunter blog ^ | January 28, 2007 | Tom the Redhunter

Posted on 01/28/2007 7:19:54 PM PST by Tom the Redhunter

On Saturday, January 27 I was with the hardy band of Freepers who rallied in support of our brave troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world. We made sure that the moonbats of United For Peace and Justice didn't have the field to themselves.

As for the anti-war nuts, their parade was an absolute freakshow. It also got pretty nasty, with the moombats insulting the veterans among us in ways that were disgraceful. These people are traitors and should be viewed as such.

A complete report on the day's events, with photos, can be found on my blog, The Redhunter. I've also got some background informatin on UPJ and Code Pink, if you're not totally sure who they are. More photos are at my Photobucket account (I've got many more to upload so come back in a day or so).

Here are a few of the photos that I took that day:

First, Code Pink at the Navy Memorial

Here are some of the Freepers getting ready for the moonbats, who marched along Pennsylvania Avenue

And here are some of the Moonbats as they came along in front of us

Some stopped to argue with us. Arguing with a moonbat is a complete waste of time and will only frustrate you.

A HUGE Thank you to Kristinn and TgslTakoma for all their hard work in organizing the FReep and for hauling all of our stuff to DC and home again.

Thank you also to everyone who showed up to express support for our side, whether Freeper or not.

Since Saddam is dead, is North Korea left as the main sponsor of International A.N.S.W.E.R.?

I see their signs in evidence, and I'm just curious if Kim Jong ("I'm so ronery!") Il is behind this sh*t.

Hey Brad

Actually I was kind of surprised to see ANSWER there, given that they and UPJ had a falling out last year. Not that it matters, they're both peas in a pod.

I could not keep my temper if these freaks confronted me. I'd end up getting boot stomped because I'd rip the lips off these mangy, soul-patched leftovers.

This would not be a good venue for the rational exchange of alternate viewpoints.

We should start planning our own show of support for the mission and the service men and women currently protecting our freedom, unlike Viet Nam we now have sources of information beyond the three major newsources available in the 1960s Walter Kronkite will not determine the outcome of this war.

While I was watching FOX today, they had a story about one of their TV trucks. It seems the "moonbats" thought it was okay to vandalize FOX's truck .. but they never touched any of the others on the street (all MSM's).

This is getting out of hand. This is just like in the 60's when these roaming bands of America-haters roamed the streets vandalizing everything.

Thanks for taking the time to take and post your pictures. It appalls me how ignorant the left is, and how hate-filled these "peace" keepers really are. To get in the face of a Vet...there just aren't any words.

ANSWER, UFPJ, and World Can't Wait coordinate one big protest each year. The other groups are invited.

Is anyone else as tired as I am of the media's knowingly false claim that there were "tens of thousands" there?

Been there , done that, got the tee shirt. Sorry you couldn't make any of them. Why don't you hold a sign on a busy street corner next Saturday and have your own personal rally?

First of all why do you presume I haven't been in any of them? One person standing on a street corner as is obvious does not have the inpact as a massive amount of people displaying the American flag.
