The Foreign Relations Committee rejected such a binding measure, offered by Democratic Sen. John F. Kerry, of Massachusetts, on a voice vote. How do you ask a man to be the last to die for a mistake? Kerry said, reprising the question he asked of the panel as a young antiwar veteran of Vietnam in the 1970s. The question is just as relevant today, he said.

What I keep wondering is if we take Kerry (and all the other cut and runners) at his word, then why do they want a "phased" re-deployment? If they believe that what we're doing is wrong, they need to vote to de-fund the war and get all of our troops out of there immediately! A phased re-deployment is only going to put our men in more immediate danger.
How does a mistake end up marrying a billionaire's widow?
I want someone to put forth a resolution saying they support the only option we support is
TO WIN NOT CUT AND RUN.
Does it ever occur to these people that the quickest way to end any war may be to support it to the fullest extent?
How do you ask a man to be the last to die for capitulation"?

"How do you ask a man to be the last to die for a mistake?
How do you deal with a bunch of Democrats who are hoping and praying that it's a mistake? And who won't offer anything, because they want to stick the whole thing on George? Even though they voted for it in the first place?
"The Foreign Relations Committee rejected such a binding measure,"
The non-binding resolution they're offering is utterly meaningless, and doesn't require any Senator to take a stand on anything. They're such cowards, they won't even be held to a resolution. Bush has more character and courage than the whole lot of them.
I don't know, Jean, how do you? How many American men are you responsible for killing in 'Nam and in Iraq with your anti-American, appeasement-oriented, defeatism? Is he willing to admit how many he killed?
What a huge a$$hat!! Kerry, you're entire life is a "botched joke"!!!
Amen!
