Mayor Bloomberg has a warning for members of the new Congress: Vote for a measure backed by the gun lobby, and he'll remember in 2008.Is this fag so sociopathic that he actually thinks that people are intimidated by this?

Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mayor Jared Fuhriman has disassociated himself with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" coalition.I would encourage everyone to send a nice e-mail to Mayor Fuhriman for this.

I would never use my firearms to save Bloomgerg's life. If I was passing by and he was on fire, I wouldn't p%*$ on him to put out the flames.

Thanks for the interesting, if not surprising, history on the current RIC (RINO-In-Charge) of the liberal hell-hole known as NYC.

Two things:
1) We also need to tell Congress (and presidential hopefuls) that If they vote for a measure backed by the gun lobby, and we'll remember in 2008.
2)"This is a law that restricts information that is there and that any rational person would want in the hands of any rational person in this country," Mr. Bloomberg said. Yes, but I view any law from the other way, what would/could happen if a liberal/socialist/communist/etc. were to be in charge? Do we want this information in the hands of any irrational people, such as Bloomberg?

Actually I don't think it is ego. I think it is more along the lines of "A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity." -- Sigmund Freud, General Introduction to Psychoanlysis (1952)

He has given a lot of money to the state committee and bought off all kinds of RINOs. Makes him worse, not better, in my estimation. He throws money around to get what he wants. Little plutocrat. (Sorry, Pluto.)

The president of Virginia Citizens Defense League . . . would be holding a "Bloomberg Gun Giveaweay," in which customers who bought $100 worth of merchandise would be eligible to win a $1,000 pistol or rifle. The word "promotion" refers to this, from the article. The fact that Bloombird called this promotion "sick" shows that it is not about illegal guns; it's about guns, period.

The NRA needs to go right down their mailing list and notify every member to do all that they possibly can not do any business of any kind with any one in NYC. They should be ask to actively lobby their companies no to have any meetings of any kind in that city. They should be asked to personally not take any vacations or put one single penny of their money into that city.
I think a commitment of a ten year boycott might get someone's attention.
It is pretty much a fact that the folks from NYC don't think they are a part of the USA, they believe that the USA is just an extension of their city. We really need to show them differently.
I hate cities, especially NYC.

Actually, the NRA needs to be ready to hide the mailing list. That will the be next thing Bloomberg demands.

Isn't there some law against threatning a member of congress? Maybe his honour needs to practice his frogwalk.

What about the pro-2A authors who get their books published here? (Just kidding.)
I wouldn't mind if the tourists go elsewhere, but they won't. They love to come here and clog everything up. They refuse to leave tips, which has led to hysteria among the waitstaffs, and resulted in illegal surcharges being imposed on everyone, including those who normally tip generously. I guess the tourists think a tip is to ensure good service next time they go to that place, and since they won't, why tip? It's not. It's like salary to the waitstaff people--their survival.
I love New York but your proposal has some merit. Just exclude the conservative press and publishers.
