Australia, Canada and New Zealand should welcome them all.
To: Bringbackthedraft
Hell, we should welcome them.

The Chocolate City (formerly known as The Crescent City) Mayor should be pleased someone is following his lead. Let them all starve. Our foreign aid dollars should not rescue them from this atrocity. Let the Chinese have them.

Zimbabwe, once a net exporter of food, is battling to produce enough to feed itself, and instead relies heavily on donor support and food imports from other countries. Humanitarian aid agencies have warned that 1.4 million people will need urgent food aid this year. Yep, sounds like the plan is working alright!/SAR

Too bad, so sad.
Perhaps it's time to evacuate all the remaining whites and let them rot.
What the natives (politically incorrect warning) have done to the once beautiful and prosperious Rhodesia is stunning - these people are no more fit to govern a country than a moron. In fact, a moron would do less damage.
I will say the politically incorrect truth: there is not a single country in Africa that is nearly so well run, or in which the average person is better off in terms of health, education, and security, than they were in 1955 before the European colonial powers left.

Lets send a squad of Ethiopians up there and be done with Mugabe. We'd do Zim and all of Africa a favor!

Saw a spot on the news re New Orleans last night. One of those that went back appeared to be ready to leave, she didn't think New Orleans would be the same and it is dangerous now. Of course then the black minister came on and said the only reason people are concerned NOW is because white folks are getting killed.

I have been to Zimbabwe and thought it was a beautiful country, with an educated middle and entrepreneurial class of both blacks and whites. Wonderful people. The skilled black population is probably in an even worse situation than the skilled whites, many of whom have British passports and who in any event have at least a chance of assimilating in another Anglophone country.
Unfortunately, it is the uneducated blacks who outnumber the rest. They put Mugabe in power, and my guess is they would actually rather dispossess the white farmers and starve than live decent lives with whites running the agribusinesses. Similar to what Chavez is doing in Venezuela with the full support of the least productive people. Envy is a powerful motivation.

I don't want to see any more pictures of starving African children, and requests for more of my money. Nothing will change until African people demand better, and fight for it.

Either Comrade Mugabe isn't aware that The Great Leap Forward was an unmitigated disaster...
...or he doesn't care.

Zimbabwe's last remaining white commercial farmers have been told that a "lucky" few might be able to keep some land, but the future of farming was for blacks only.
The the whole country shall starve, thanks to collectivism. A common tale.

I can only wish that we had a politician or two that would stand up and state that truth loudly for all to hear.
Ain't gonna happen unless someone can resurrect Margaret Thacher or Ronald Reagan!

How and why is this story important to your average American? This story about Zimbabwe is important to the average American (provided he/she ever hears about it) by demonstrating yet once again that implementing Communism ultimately leads to mass starvation. See North Korea for another example. Mass starvation is both a political tool of control and the end result. Mass starvation could happen even in America if the Communists ever take control.
