Global warming on Mars?
In the other study, led by Michael C. Malin, features at the south pole were observed to retreat by up to 10 feet (3 meters) from one Martian year to the next.
The odd shapes -- circular pits, ridges and mounds -- were first photographed in 1999. Since then, the features have eroded away by up to 50 percent.

No man-made factor on earth could account for BOTH global warming on Earth and also on Mars.
The polar ice caps on MARS are shrinking, year over year, at least in the southern hemisphere. (Differences in composition of dry ice (carbon dioxide) vs. water ice make the northern and southern polar ice caps behave a little differently.)

SHRINKING MESAS. Mesas of dry ice at the martian south pole have been retreated by about 10 feet (3m) per Mars year since Mars Global Surveyor arrived in 1999. These images compare the same region in 1999 and 2005. Mars seems to be in a warm spell. Dry ice turns to gas on the mesas's sides, but no new ice is being deposited. Over time, the polar pits will merge into plains, mesas will shrink into buttes, and buttes will vanish forever.

Look down to the paragraph next to the moon, which starts "Among the findings attributed to MGS,"
Near the end of that paragraph is the "money sentence" --

WRONG. What it says is that mars is warming and man made co2 is not the cause. Earth could still be warming via man made co2, via the sun, or some combination of the two and/or other factors.

Real evidence, such as this, will be ignored by global warming alarmists. They have an agenda and they use global warming as their red herring in order to de-industrialize the U.S. and make it into a third world country.
The Martian atmosphere is entirely CO2 and is 0.1% of Earth's atmosphere. You can't draw any meaningful conclusion just from global warming on Mars.
Congress-"Woman" Sheila Jackson Lee may take issue with the cause of Global Warming on Mars...
After all, she is the genius who thought man had visited and planted a flag on Mars, instead of the Moon....
That one "visit" by man to mars - COULD have been enough to disrupt their climate....

Uhhh.... No, not really. The increased output of the sun is causing the polar ice on Mars to shrink. The SAME increased solar output MUST be affecting Earth. It is impossible for increased solar output to be reaching Mars, but not Earth. (In fact, if you know anything about electromagnetic radiation, the power of the sun's rays fall off with the square of the distance, and the same is true for any increase as well. Any effect on Mars therefore must equal a far greater effect on Earth, because Earth is significantly closer to the sun then Mars.)
While one can hypothesize any cause for alleged global warming in the absence of such evidence, once it is known that the sun is -- in fact -- causing the polar ice cap to shrink on Mars, the same must be true of the Earth.
Proponoents of global warming hysteria suggest an increase of only 0.6 degrees Celsius from global warming.
We know that the increased solar energy is sufficient -- at a much greater difference -- to melt the polar ice on Mars.
Therefore, the increased solar energy MUST have an equally powerful effect on the Earth, and an even greater effect (because of the lesser distance).
This leaves no room for any other cause. We cannot be observing the sun "plus" something else. There is not enough room in the observed 0.6 degrees Celsius to allow for BOTH the sun plus something else as well. We already see that the global warming hysteria models predict temperature increases much TOO high, and do not track with reality. If we now have to squeeze that down even further, the models are completely discredited.
As to the title, the trouble is that I was summarizing 5 different articles all on the same subject.

Oh, man is adding to it and there's no doubt about that. All the poisonous hot air from gasbags like Al Gore & Co are definitely polluting the political atmosphere.
It is time for God to realize his experiment with humans has run it's course, and satisfied any useful purpose.
It's time for Him to clean up this mess and try some other hobby.
