1/19/2007 - The family claims the victims husband did it. But Fresno County prosecutors are closing the book on a murder mystery, seven years in the making.
Linda Adanalian's death was unusual. Some thought it was murder, but a lengthy probe found no evidence of a crime. In a written statement Fresno County District Attorney Elizabeth Egan says the criminal investigation into the death of Linda Adanalian is over.
Egan says:
"Following an analysis of the facts developed during the investigation it was determined there is insufficient evidence to establish that the untimely death of Linda Adanalian resulted from criminal homicide." It's welcome news to Warren Paboojian. An attorney, and close friend of Mark Adanalian, Linda's surviving husband.
"When there's insufficient evidence that means there's no evidence that a crime was committed," Paboojian said.
But the woman's parents still believe Mark Adanalian poisoned Linda, with selenium. A legal consultant for the parents says the district attorney's decision is impossible to understand.

I don't remember this case, but there was an episode of CSI where two women were suspected of killing the husband of one of the women with selenium. If I recall correctly, they also got away with it.
The corner's inquest concluded that there was insufficient evidence to pursue prosecution and secure a conviction on a criminal charge.
