Cairo: Egyptian police detained 29 members of the Muslim Brotherhood, the country's strongest opposition movement, in a series of dawn raids across three northern provinces yesterday, Muslim Brotherhood sources said.
Members of the group said aides to Brotherhood parliamentarians had been detained, and deputy leader Mohammad Habib said senior members were among the detainees.
A spokesman for Interior Ministry declined to comment. Although officially banned, the Brotherhood operates relatively openly but is subject to frequent crackdowns by the government which often detains members without charge for months.
I hope none are released. Hosni receives loads of US taxpayers money, so we can expect him to lock and crush those Islamic Terrorists.
This doesn't feel good atall.
This is unusual, I think. They have been allowed to operate fairly openly -- glad to see this.

Sweden's Unholy Alliance
One might ask how a democratic party can justify co-operating with Swedens Muslim Association. During the above mentioned documentary the Social Democrat Ola Johansson referred to the book Social Justice in Islam by the Islamic ideologue Sayyid Qutb as proof that the social democratic ideology could find common ground with Islamic ideas. As the Swedish paper Expressen has exposed, Sayyid Qutb was not only a social thinker; he was also inspired by the German Nazi movement. He was an important figure in the Egyptian Islamic movement in the 50's and remains an inspiration for Muslim Extremists.
Sayyid Qutb calls for an all out war against the western civilization; he hates liberal democracy, views capitalism as a sick idea and is an extreme anti-Semite. Perhaps it is not a coincidence that Qutbs writings were translated to Dutch by Mohammed Bouyeri, the murderer of Theo van Gogh...

And this is what Sweden gets in return, Ola Johannson!
Socialist political systems are corrupt oligarchies in which the public treasury is used to subsidize certain significant constituencies in order for those in charge to hang on to power. So, Moslems feel at home there, having grown up under similar systems which rely on hierarchy and patronage. Luckily I've never felt a need to visit Scandinavia, because in a very few years, for all practical purposes, it won't be there.
great photo!!!
Is Swedish Democracy Collapsing?
excerpt:
This text was posted on a large Swedish Muslim forum in February 2005:
"Wallahi I pray that Allah will severely punish all those who are involved in this war against Islam. And that Sweden will feel the punishment of the Mujahdiin that the USA and Spain and other countries have done for their involvement in Iraq. May Allah punish this hypocrite government, Ameen. Please give me evidence that kuffar (infidels) should NOT be allowed to kill. Why should you not be allowed to call Sweden Darul Harb (the House of War)? Ulama have stated many times that every state that does not judge according to sharia, and does not have a pact with the Muslims or is paying the Jiziya is a part of Dar ul-Harb, which is allowed to attack and their wealth permitted for all Muslims. Why not follow the example of what our Mujahid brother in Holland did with that pig Theo van Gogh? That brother's action really made a difference in the world, and because of it the Muslims now enjoy some respect and eminence among the kuffar. Sure, Muslims enjoy "protection" in Sweden as citizens. So what? There are Muslims in the USA and Israel, too, getting "protection". What difference does it make? Allah made Jihad compulsory. A Muslim has to enter fully into Islam, not just ignore issues as he feels like. This is Islam, not a lunch buffet."
