Cindy Sheehan Blames Gerald Ford for Iraq War, "Deaths of over 3000 American soldiers"

On the occasion of the death of President Gerald Ford, anti-American activist Cindy Sheehan released a statement today blaming Ford for the war in Iraq and the "deaths of over 3000 American soldiers" in the conflict.

Sheehan, whose son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq in 2004, wrote about Ford on BuzzFlash.com, a leftist website.

Sheehan has become the face of the antiwar movement since she started stalking President Bush at his Crawford, Texas ranch in August, 2005. She is currently in Crawford, as is President Bush.

After writing the obligatory condolences on his passing, Sheehan ripped in to Ford:

Usually, burying a 93 year old loved one is sorrowful but, I believe his pardon of Richard Nixon is one of the factors that have led to the untimely deaths of over 3000 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East. Just this month alone, 91 of our young people have met early, avoidable, unnecessary and tragic deaths in Bloody George's horrific war. In a month when most people picked out Christmas trees and had joy-filled celebrations in the season of lights, 91 of our nation's families went shopping for burial plots or urns and their holidays will never be the same again.

One of the talking heads on one of the cable news shows (does it matter which?) said that it was a "great thing for America" that Gerald Ford pardoned the crooked war criminal, Richard Nixon. He said that we don't make public spectacles out of trying our presidents in criminal courts. After all, we are not a "banana republic."

No, the United States of America is not a "banana republic" Mr. Talking Head, but since Nixon got away with his blatant crimes and every President since Nixon has skated away from office after having committed overt and covert crimes, we have on our hands, here, a situation that I am forced now to call: "Bloody George."

Bloody George struts around in a cloud of denial with his fake cowboy swagger, breaking our nation's laws and international laws as if he were immune from life's woes and above any law. What Mr. Talking Head was pointing out to us in his ridiculous commentary was that presidents are above the law that they swear to uphold. Presidents of other countries who are found guilty of murdering 148 people are not apparently above the law -- Bloody George plays banana republic justice in other countries while countenancing none of the same here in the U.S. of A.

Cindy Sheehan has long since passed in to buffoon status, but her dogged stalking of President Bush and her alliance with terrorist supporting leftists here in America and around the world makes her worth keeping an eye on. That and her fantasies of killing President Bush.

I was a wild child teen and got into hairpulling, scratching fights with other girls and some boys too!

Five decades ago, but I'm with you. I'd love to take a swing at this hag.

And to think that after President Bush refused to meet her for a second time, the backstabbing John McCain met with her.

As sad as I am at Pres. Ford's passing..

The fact that it happened before the new Congress is sworn in...deprives Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi the chance to get face time, and flaunt themselves all over Washington this week....a teeny, tiny bit of good news..

I remember girls like her in high school

They were the ones to always shoot of their mouths and the first to run if things got heated

If her son were alive, he'd kick her square in the ass like she deserves.

The wires have not only gotten unwrapped, there is a serious short and meltdown going on in the mind of Cindy Sheehan.

WHAT did Gerald Ford have to do with Iraq? Whatever President Ford was doing back in 1974 through 1976, it could not, in any way, have connected with the events that have taken place in Iraq since that time.

Former President Ford, elder statesman, very carefully kept his opinions OUT of any matters domestic or foreign, unlike his successor, Jimmy Carter, who HAS had some impact on the present situation there. Jimmy has not made things better in any way.

She'll use anything to get her name in the news, won't she? I guess she's afraid everyone will forget about her.

I'm with you all the way.

I'm done being nice.

A couple of years ago, we were waiting to be WAVED into the West Wing of the White House and I looked up and who should be standing next to me but Terry Moran, trying to get back into the press area.

I held my tongue because my family was with me.

I can guaran-damn-tee you that won't happen again.

Howlin, you forgot to put 'REPULSIVE' in front of your comment, which I agree with 100%.

Cindy Sheehan should do something useful with her worthless life and hire herself out as a replacement for Ipecac.

I thought this was a parody. Sadly, it is real.

What a pathetic excuse of a person Cindy Sheehan is. She is completely delusional. I never want to hear another word from this woman ever again. I am sorry for the loss of her son, but she needs to be told that her day for being taken seriously is over. I want her to just go away forever.
