Hi Lurker-

You could always purchase a second folding knife purely for sake of variety. One of my friends typically uses a 3" model when around the house and increases to a 4" version when hiking since it will be used for food preparation and making kindling for campfires. The knife companies are small businesses that generally support RKBA, so they deserve a bit of our consumer dollars every now and again!

I guess I could, and I do when I can.

I've got Leatherman tools in every 'Go Kit', each one has a separate 3" blade in there, too.

There's also a small folder in the glove box of each car.

I'm like you. I can't believe that people don't carry a small knife everywhere they go.
