I guess I could, and I do when I can.

I've got Leatherman tools in every 'Go Kit', each one has a separate 3" blade in there, too.

There's also a small folder in the glove box of each car.

I'm like you. I can't believe that people don't carry a small knife everywhere they go.

Just keep in mind that Tim Leatherman of Leatherman Tool Group was a Kerry supporter in the last presidential election according to the hyperlinked FR thread attached. No sense in replacing serviceable tools now, but you might want to consider SOG or Gerber products for future purchases.
