Text of report in English by Thai newspaper The Nation website on 5 December

Yala: Muslim insurgents detonated a homemade bomb in a busy downtown of this southern border province Tuesday morning [5 December], killing two people and injuring 18 other people.

The bomb exploded at 7.50 a.m. [local time, 0050 gmt] at a busy intersection where shoppers were buying foods at roadside foods stalls.

The bomb at the Ruammitr-Wiphakul Intersection in Yala's Muang district also damaged seven motorcycles.

Police quoted eyewitnesses as saying that they saw two men arriving on a motorcycle and they bought some foods before leaving behind a plastic bag filled with morning glory under a table and left.

The witnesses said the explosion occurred shortly after the two left.

Chaowaroj Kingratana, 50, was fatally injured and died at the Yala Provincial Hospital.

Paibool Meeseedee, 32, also died at the provincial hospital.

Two other men were severely injured and the rest suffered minor injuries, police said.

Police are sketching the portraits of the two assailants.

Slowly but steadily, the Pattani Jihad is gathering momentum.

FWIW, my 2 cents, the increasing Islamization of Malaysia means that they are repeating the Kashmir scenario in Thailand.

It is unfortunate that this killing will go on for sometime before the Thai can get support to put down the murder of innocent.
Naive people still believe Thais are carrying out cultural genocide against the Muslim there.

This is so distressing. Muhammadans just don't understand the word "NO."

Extermination of the vermin is the only possible solution. And I hate that, but they don't want to accept as fact that Muhammadanism should have died out when Muhammad died.
