Intelligence: Senate Democrats are focusing their new powers on one thing above all else: wrenching as many national security secrets as possible from this White House and using them for political assassination.
Giving Leahy and his staff secrets would, quite simply, be a security risk. Since the 1980s, Leahy's nickname inside the Beltway has been "Leaky Leahy" because of his willingness to provide the press with juicy secrets to be used against Republican presidents.
"The American people," Leahy wrote in a letter to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, "deserve to have detailed and accurate information about the role of the Bush administration in developing the interrogation policies and practices that have engendered such deep criticism around the world."
Wrong. What the American people deserve from our government is not kowtowing to foreign criticism, but protection from terrorism. That is something President Bush has done to perfection — and Democrats seem willing to sacrifice protection in their crusade to destroy this presidency.

Yes, IBD has some good stuff. They should make it e-mailable.
The Administration should resist these congressional committees tooth-and-nail. They are not about the national interest, but the raw self-interest of the Democratic party. They are not legitimate legislators, but bullies and thugs who have no problem aiding the enemy, since the enemy they care about is the Republican party. I'd love to see an unsuccessful impeachment attempt that tears the Democratic party apart and shows most of them for what they are.

This is why I will never serve ever again. Let Congress and those who vote for such leaders play the worm on the hook. I'll stick to playing video games instead of blood letting and betrayal.

If you thought the Leahy turd was/is bad, wait 'till his commie co-partner (Bernie Sanders) joins him in January.
Hopefully that cocktail will help push the Democrats back to the minority in '09.
Any documents released by the President should require that they never be allowed to be seen by Leahy.

And then Democrat Chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee Sen. FRANK CHURCH proceeded to seriously gut our intelligence capabilities world wide. Serious damage that we are still paying dearly for in this new time of war.
A Sen. FRANK CHURCH that we now know whose parents were directly connected to the Communist Party of America.
After BILL CLINTON left the U.S. Presidency, he publically stated that there may not even be an America around in 300 years.

This candidate was beyond a joke, he was the joke. And look at what we wind up with.
That is, an alarming number of Americans prefer to see failure in leadership, failure in integrity, failure in character, failure in principle, and failure in perserverence.
And an alarming number of Americans cheer loudly for that failure.
Those that cheer the loudest for failure, are almost always Democrats.
What can they possibly hope will happen, if they get their way?

You would think after screwing up so badly and leaking secrets the old fool would have learned something. Onviously he hasnt , because he now wants more informations he can leak. And he keeps getting elected.
One step closer to the eventual housecleaning by angry Americans and trials of those Democrats and their subsequent executions for setting themselves up as tyrants.
The problem with the dem party is its name. It should be renamed communist party. That would at least be truthful.
for Democrats, politics is "war by another means", even if it means
