In that case, we can expect a great massacre of Citroens and Renaults to follow forthwith. I thought they were up to about 50 a day, just in Paris, under "normal" circumstances. How many do you have to get to for it to be a "massacre"?
That many burned cars in any major city win the US would be beyond belief.
How do the French insurance companies put up with this? Other than just removing coverage for burning? In the US, State Farm and Alstate would be putting enormous pressure on the government over this kind of stuff.

As you say, 50 is getting to be pretty routine. A true massacre would be in the hundreds, sustained for weeks on end. I might set up a pool on it at

This got me to wondering how many vehicles these "yoots" could torch here in Lubbock. I would bet against anything more than 3 before they were all gunned down like rabid dogs. Maybe Allstate et al should encourage gun ownership just for that reason. New York and Massachusetts insurance carriers may be in some difficulty though.
