Judging by looking at the people they have put in place for leadership positions, the people who would have to execute such a plan, I would say not a chance in hell.

even the MSM will have a hard time ignoring the incompetent ignoramuses now "in charge" in DC. the pubs just need to feed their egos a bit and let the meltdown happen.
Mitch McConnel is one mountain the donks can not move but will have to try and go around. Since he is the republican senate leader, the donks are in for a very rough time.
IMO the title should be...The media and Democrats plot to bring down Republicans by spreading rumors that Republicans are trying to bring democrats down.
One wonders: If they had the capability, why didn't they just do it in this past election?

Having said that, Clinton is the "Green Lady" from C.S. Lewis' "Silver Chair"..... An evil snake masquerading as a gracious woman. It isn't a bad idea to "bring down" or to figuratively "hack the snake's head off" at the beginning of the story instead of the end.
It would avoid a lot of grief and suffering.
I believe that both parties are successful at shooting their own feet off not to mention their big mouths.
