COOL! What a wonderful city to do this. Chicago has my heart for a big city. There is none better.

Every August Chicago has the air and water show, The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds switch every other year.
It is amazing to see these planes go shooting between the buildings.
I have friends that are lucky to work on the floors of these buildings and on the Friday before the actual show they practice and it is just amazing to see them fly by at eye level.

Cool indeed. Now here's a question. The shape of the wing provides lift when a plane is flying normally. What about when it's flying upside down? Wouldn't it provide anti-lift, as in... Well... you know...

I haven't been there in about 10 years, but my memories go way back when I was there about 5 times a year for years. What a great city. Do you remember a restaurant called "The Cart"

Wow. I really liked the part where another plane "dropped in"

A few years back, we had the Blue Angels warming up for SEAFAIR in downtown Seattle. I'd say 'over' but they were flying so low you could see their nose hair.

It is amazing to see these planes go shooting between the buildings. I used to live on a high floor right off North Ave beach (where they "center" the Air Show). During the week before show, they'd practice during the day. It is intensely cool to see fighters going past your window at eye level ;-)
