I always wondered why they don't live like they want us to. Do they think they're doing their part to help the environment by getting us to make the effort they won't. What a nice way to sooth your conscience and still live the extravagantly wasteful lifestyle you want.

Here's an idea... Lead by example. When they live like I do and still make those efforts, then I will.

How about this tip, Babs: "Don't buy 14,000 sq. foot Malibu mansions with thirty rooms and six air conditioners."

And don't leave your Gulfstream running on the tarmac with the door open.

A few humble tips for Babs:

* Don't let your limosine idle needlessly; better yet, ride in the same vehicle with your entourage.

* Limit use of sound amplification and stage lighting in concerts; do more "unplugged" gigs to save energy.

* Refuse any neon light marquees.

* Take ordinary travellers with you on your personal jet flights.

* Screen the stocks in your Foundation's portfolio annually to make sure that non-energy friendly companies have crept into your holdings.

* Limit water sprinkler times on mansion grouds.

* Turn off the automatic pool cleaner.

* Do not cool or chill your wine.

The caustic soda used in the primary refining operation for Cocaine is an ecological disaster, not to mention the destruction of wild space for cultivation. If the Hollywood super-rich really wanted to save the rain forest, they would cut down on their Cocaine consumption.

Pools need to be chlorinated.... Get rid of the pools and pool chemicals, too.
