I won't vote for any combo that includes McCain. Period. Don't ask it of me.

Even with Hillary on the other side?

Even with. I won't vote to put a paranoid schizo socialist RINO gun hater in office. I had to hold my nose to vote for Bush as I thought he was "too moderate". McCain is a lunatic that shouldn't be within a 100 miles of the Big Red Button.

Hillary is the elephant in the room.

Should Hillary! get the nomination, this makes it much better for her. MSM will hide Hillary!'s nastiness from the public, and goad McCain into a few tantrums, which will be replayed over, and over, and over, and over......

He better be on Valium when he deals with the press, or he will lose it.

All this, of course, assuming they really get the nominations. It's a long way off.

I see Tradesports has McCain the frontrunner, with Hillary! a close second.

Hillary is the best thing to ever happen to the U.S. left. They could get conservatives to vote in someone with the same positions as Hillary to avoid her. If McGivernizing the GOP isn't a victory for the left, what is?

If McCain is the nominee, he will not get my vote.

No way.
No how.
Not under any circumstances.
Not even if Senator Clinton is his opponent.
Not even if the Hitler's zombie is his opponent.

If the Republican Party isn't capable of learning from the beating they took on Tuesday that we don't want candidates who constantly sabotage our ideas for a smaller, less intrusive government then they deserve to lose in '08 and they can cease to exist as a party for all I care.

On Tuesday, I held my nose and voted for unworthy Republicans for the sole purpose of trying to keep Democrats from winning by default. It didn't work, and now any Republican who wants the job MUST convince me that he deserves it, and being an advocate for big government, as McCain is, is NOT the way to do that.

You're too polite. I'd say that anyone who would sit home on election day in a Clinton v. McCain match up can not honestly be called a conservative.

Yes, even with Hillary on the other side. Pull out McCain and the Anti Immigration crowd will pull out a Perot and repeat 1992 for the Republican Establishment to enjoy all over again. McCain ain't got the money to run 3rd Party and it don't work for the Republican Establishment to try running third party. Just ask John Anderson how being the mouthpiece for the Rockefeller Republicans worked against Reagan.

So the McCainiacs can forget trying to scare us with either Hilly or "I'll take my ball and go home" 3rd party nonsense. He does not got enough of a following nor the cash to even consider it. It is total bluff.

So McCain is history. That is OUR pound of flesh for the Republican DC Machine playing political games the last 6 years.

The McCainians did everything they could to help the Dems stick the knife in the back of our troops AGAIN. We do not forget nor forgive. McCain is bye bye or Repbos will lose again in 2008. We can simply wait for your guy to get too old and try again. It just that simple.
