You and your ilk can go shove it tonight. I blame the unappeasables that were the my way or no way crowd like you and the writer of this crap as much as I do anyone. Hope you like Pelosi as the Speaker and no conservative judges approved. I blame you and your ilk for the fact we will have trouble getting any judge that is good through the Senate. You all can take it and shove it!

Excessive Republican spending = reduced Republican base turnout. Are you really that obtuse?

Exactly. All you freepers whom freaked out and blamed all the immigration issues on Bush and wanted to close the borders wit 20 foot walls, etc. where did that mentality get JD Hayworth? JD was a great congressman but should have taken more the middle ground. He is gone now.

If you put your faith in man, any man, your doomed. If you put all your faith in God, and His Son Jesus, the future is going to be AWESOME! I've been saying this since the Clinton administration, and I will keep saying it until God brings forth his "elect". "For the whole creation groans and travails, waiting for the manifestation of the SONS of God."

Will America survive when lies win, and truth is ignored and trampled. All I can say is figuratively they beat and trampled Jesus to death, but he arose and fulfilled all of God's plans. So no matter what you think is happening or not happening, nothing can stop "they Kingdom come, thy will be done, on EARTH, as it is in Heaven."

The president is the defacto head of the GOP. The GOP failed to maintain a majority. If not Bush, who would you blame? Conservatives?

I see some have already arrived.

And I see you still don't have the balls to say things to people's faces and continue to talk about them behind their backs.

And if you agree with Brian about anything, you're useless.

Sorry, we were proven right. I know how upsetting it is to hear that you're wrong.

And, BTW, I voted Republican, so your extreme statements do not apply to me.

If ALlen was perceived as being half the man Bush is, he'd have had a cakewalk. Didn't happen did it. ANd if you knew ANYTHING about what is going on in Afghanistan and Iraq you'd amaze yourself.

WTF? There have been plenty of instances where the sitting party in the oval office loses seats in second term elections.

Yes, Bush and this past few Congresses have stunk on some issues and also on getting the message out but I am not going to ignore history either.

Let's not fool ourselves. If we become "Party uber Alles" robots then we are as doomed as we would be if we voted Dem. I for one was not an enthusiastic Bush supporter in this election cycle. I have been very troubled by four specific things:

1) We have been mucking around in Iraq longer than it took us to win WWII. The politically correct approach to winning a war will not work. Bad guys need to be killed, not counseled.

2) Spending and government growth are way out of control. So we got a token tax cut. If a small one was good, a big one would have been better.

3) Our country and certain western states have been invaded and colonized by Mexico and the president has turned a deaf ear to it in hopes of getting the (illegal?) Hispanic vote. Hey George, how'd that work for you?

4) Polls over principle governing. The party has consistently worked against strong conservatives in the interest of RINO's and "moderates". Hey Carl Rove, how'd that work for you?

This election was not a rejection of conservative principles, it was firing an incompetent work force.

We managed to pull off things here in TN. We might have even improved our position in the State Legislature. It appears more to me to be a whooping in blue states that used to have more semi-Republicans in Congress. Some good ones went out with the bad. But look at the CNN House map and how little changed in the South and West. Allen and Talent ran stupid. We can still pull out a good last two years. I just don't expect the Congresscritters to show the spine to do it. Though the Rs do better as the minority it seems.

They showed the leadership crowd's pictures, and I have to believe that the majority of Americans will not like the fact that they don't look like America. I hope we live through it, because that group looks like the Star Wars bar scene and when they open their mouths, put your hands over your ears.

Well, its Iraq. Everything else is second. Was the invasion of Iraq a mistake? Maybe. Should we have played to win? Yes. Do we have the stomach to win now? I am afraid to ponder an honest answer to this question.....
