Can anyone guide me to this internet movie file countering global warming?

Posted on 11/02/2006 8:03:05 AM PST by Jesse Segovia

A few years ago I downloaded a pair of movie clips, parts 1 & 2, from the internet presenting a very powerful skeptical view of global warming. There were researchers, professors and climate experts quoted along with hard evidence countering global warming claims. I believe there were at least one and perhaps more of these experts from a Canadian university, perhaps the University of Toronto.

Unfortunately I've lost these clips and can't find them in my bookmarks or with a google or youtube search. Does anyone know where I might find these video files again?

I'd appreciate it very much!

Jesse

Hadn't you heard? Global warming has been proven as fact and all dissenting views have been eliminated.

Not exactly what you asked for--but a pretty good related source, I think.

Try "Climate Catastrophe Cancelled: What You're Not Being Told About the Science of Climate Change".

If that's not what you were looking for, see it anyway 'cause it's pretty good.

LOL! Wow, when you think of what Al Gore has accomplished in his life - he invented both the internet AND global warming, and elected George Bush President of the United States!

You should know that Al Gore (inventor of the internet) has hacked into your computer and eliminated all that spurious propaganda that dosen't square with the Ministry of Thought.

"You should know that Al Gore (inventor of the internet)"

Isn't he also claiming credit for inventing global warming?

There is a French speaking prof (probably from Quebec) at the University of Toronto who I've see on Cpac that has presented very interesting counter claims:

1. the sun is like a light bulb that has recently heated up
2. the high point of global warming took place in the 1920s before any emissions and now the temperature is on the decline
3. there has been times of warming and cooling on the planet in our recent history as evidenced by the glaciers advancing and receding -- they found a Roman village from a receding glacier
4. they really can't be that sure about global warming from a broad perspective over time because thermometers are a recent invention -- last hundred years or so.

I don't know his name but he gave a speech in French for some event in Ontario but you might try Cpac. They air that clip a number of times.

NUREMBERG-STYLE TRIALS PROPOSED FOR GLOBAL WARMING SKEPTICS

Grist Magazine’s staff writer David Roberts called for the Nuremberg-style trials for the “bastards” who were members of what he termed the global warming “denial industry.”

LOL! Looking for these? http://www.friendsofscience.org/index.php?ide=3

Wow, lots of great material on this thread. Too bad the global warming debate is over and the Democrats won.

'Funny how the cure for global warming and the Democratic party platform match perfectly, much better than the CO2 emissions and temperature increase graphs.

We've only lost the debate when we give up and walk away. The truth is a very powerful weapon in our arsenal. We must never give up or stop sharing it with others. Only in such a way can we prevail.
