The fact that Kerry (who served in Vietnam, by the way) cancelled his appearances gives this story legs - meaning there will be local news out there to cover the "lack of a story."

Let the press know you DID NOT FORGET that JOHN F'N KERRY was supposed to BE HERE on Wednesday and that a local Dim candidate was the ONE TO INVITE HIM, and then question whether that Dim thinks our troops are a bunch of non-educated fools, as the candidate's SCHEDULED GUEST thinks they are.
Jf'n cancelled all his Wednesday appointments .. and one IA Dem candidate in a tight race uninvited him, suggesting his comments were "inappropriate" ... guess that candidate missed the punchine, too.
