"I wish he wouldn't. Refuting or commenting on what was said could give it a perverted type of validity in the minds of the sheeple.
Kerry has done a fine job over covering himself in crapola....just let him wallow in it a while.

No, kick him while he's down and do it hard and repeatedly. Two reason for this, first its fun to do. Second, the MSM will let this die down by tomorrow if we don't and we don't need that to happen. We need to keep this going for the next week.

Kerry and the democrats have been spewing their hate, venom and disdain for the military for far too long. Enough is enough.

It's still ongoing, even after the firestorm over Kerry's remarks.

Just read some of the posts at the New York Times blog.  They think Kerry is a hero for what he said!  They're not even trying to hide it:

I posted on another thread how Kerry is trying to explain his remarks on the military......

" I'm a US senator, and I was in Iraq, no, I mean Viet Nam, perhaps Cambodia?,anyway, I respect the troops and its the fault of neocons that education funding was cut and rednecks were forced into the military. Aww $hit that didn't come out right.
The neocons are twisting my words, it was a joke to bash military leaders that force these poor dumb kids into the military.....Theresa....WTF is in those raisins? "

As Luck Would Have It...

...John Kerry will be in Minnesota tomorrow to campaign with Democratic Congressional candidate Tim Walz. Our friend Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Joe Repya issued this statement earlier this afternoon:

The men and women serving in the uniform of our nation are not fodder for politicians to joke about. By insulting veterans and active members of the United States military as uneducated losers, John Kerry owes an apology to all the brave men and women who have ever worn the uniform of our country. As a 2005 veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I call on Tim Walz and the DFL Party to immediately denounce Kerry's deeply offensive remarks and rescind their invitations for Kerry to campaign in our state tomorrow.
Joe is being modest; he is not only a veteran of OIF, but also of Vietnam and the first Gulf War.

My guess is that Kerry will have apologized by tomorrow, but it will be interesting to see whether veterans turn out to protest his appearances in southern Minnesota.

LOL...I am pretty sure that is what Bush was saying in his MIND...but, seeing as he is the POTUS, and is a classy guy....NO, sorry, he did not say that out loud.

Sorry to disappoint..but, I am sure that if there was a speech bubble over his head..that only Freepers could see...what you posted would have been in it!

Slapping the village idiot around doesn't make you look big or noble, it just makes the idiot look more important than he really is.

This principle applies only when the general public (in this case, swing voters) is aware that he IS the village idiot. In this case, slapping the village idiot around brings to the attention of swing voters for the first time the fact that this guy they thought was a local sage really is the VI.

That is a valuable service to perform...

John F. , pi$$ be upon him, Kerry slanders another generation of our military. Is there no end to his lies? I fully expected him to be hammering rock in Leavenworth by now with his previous treason.

The President did very well in calling Kerry out for an apology. He won't apologize of course; he is just another spineless POS.

Amen President Bush- Amen and Amen- Thank you for saying what had to be said! Coming from the highest office in the land, you'd think it would have some weight, that Kerry would feel at least an modicum of shame- but nope- He doesn't even respect his superior- just as he didn't respect his fellow soldiers- Again, I shudder to think he ever got close to winning the Presidency!

A traitor? A traitor?!?! The place is riddled with 'em! Let's not overlook Ted - Kremlin/KGB-aquiddic - Kennedy (aka bloviating doughy-fat beached-whale bastard). Even more despicable than that piece of steaming offal, is Jimmah - Kremlin/KGB-aquiddic - Carter. And then there's, what's his name? Its so hard to remember, given his distinguished political career. Oh, yes, now it comes to me, straight from memories seared in Cambodia: Johnny - VietCong/NVA-aquiddic - Kerry.

Oh, I know the place is riddled with them, J. F'n Kerry is just the "Traitor of the Day" today!

Bush should be calling for a resignation from the TRAITOR! He's been a traitor for years, why hasn't he been called on it?

He won't apologize of course...

Had it been a Republican who had said anything that bad, he would have already resigned and the dems would be demanding the Speaker's resignation too.

That dimwitcrat Kerry arrogantly impugned the honor of generations of our brave and courageous soldiers. He must resign from the senate for his pompous and insulting comments.

He has insulted my father, and my uncles. He has slandered the brave men who sacrificed their lives on the beaches of Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Normandy.

Kerry is as obnoxious as Bill and Hillary Clinton who "loathed the military" and called them "pigs". The democrat party cannot be trusted to defend the security of the American People. They cannot hide, lie, and shy away from the truth that John Kerry so repulsively admitted of their total disdain for our great troops.

John Kerry must resign.
