One of the Washington D.C. snipers confessed to killing a man on a Southeast Side golf course four years ago, Tucson police said Friday.
The confession from Lee Boyd Malvo on Thursday brings a sense of closure to Jerry Taylor's family, who for many years have believed that Malvo and fellow sniper John Allen Muhammad were behind the slaying on March 19, 2002.
Taylor's daughter, Cheryll Witz, said she was ready to forgive Malvo for his crime.
"I really do need to forgive him and I do believe he was brainwashed" by Muhammad, Witz said Friday.
For several years, Tucson Police have suspected that the infamous Washington D.C. snipers were linked to the March 2002 slaying of Taylor.
Malvo spent about two hours speaking with Tucson detectives Thursday where he admitted to shooting Taylor with the cooperation of Muhammad, police said. As part of the agreement to interview Malvo, Tucson Police offered him prosecutorial immunity.
The Pima County Attorney's Office would need further information to verify Malvo's statements before bringing charges against Muhammad, said David Berkman, the Pima County Attorney's Office chief criminal deputy.
Along with a billion or so others.
But Muslims are peaceful!!!
I never understood why these weren't classified as terrorist attacks.

Although I would be willing to wager that John Allen Muhammad probably has another dozen that he committed prior to meeting this kid. If we really got into this...I'd even bet he killed someone before the age of 18. We just will never know.

This psychotic father and son used religion as a vehicle for their deprivations the same way Al Queda rationalizes their murderous behavior. Stalin fought the Bolshevik revolution by robbing banks. This type of personality, and Tokie Williams was another example, are hard-wired and beyond any kind of therapy or redemption, like rabid dogs.

This POS will never get the death penalty as long as there are liberal lawyers and judges, we'll be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for these scum.
I think it has to do with the reason or agenda for the attacks. I don`t know why he did this, but I guess to classify it as a terrorist attack it would come down to whether he was just a psycho serial killer getting his rocks off or somebody who wanted to kill Americans in the name of Islam (or to impress democrats, same thing) or whatever.

Why do some people behave this way?
It wasn't until well after they were caught that Malvo made his jailhouse doodlings. I think that had more to do with the fact he wanted to believe he was a part of something larger and more important, rather than just being a criminal. The fact they were converted muslims likely fed into their already disgruntled and murderous personalities, but no evidence points to it being the main reason for their crimes.
The snipings and panic is caused was certainly terrorizing. However, they were no more terrorists than University of Texas sniper Charles Whitman was.

Becuase some people have learned to live life with Christ in their heart.
But one must acknowledge that many terrorists finance their terrorism through petty crimes.
She should really need to see him electrocuted.
