"The uncovered meat is the problem."
I'm glad he spelled it out at the end because I had no idea where he was going with that, and I was even confused a little. Not the best allegory ever! I was ready to blame it on the help (and it's just the sort of thing they would do) for leaving out the uncovered meat when he took a little pity on all of us who were scratching our heads and he gave us the answer. Although the story might make a little more sense if we just blamed it on the houseboy. It makes more sense to flog the houseboy than a plate of uncovered meat.
Every last one of these f***sticks talks as though he's writing the next chapter of the Koran. Got to make sure it sounds scriptural and all that. Put it a lot of metaphors like Mohammad used to do. Stitch together a real smart proverb built of disparate parts and hope it makes sense at the end. If it does? Great! People will remember the Mufti Al-Shabazz or whatever because he came up with the whipping-the-donkey-with-a-snake allegory that teaches us...what? Oh right...that any pleasure during this existance is decadent and sinful. That seems to be the punchline of all these ridiculous "morals."
Blaming an inanimate plate of meat? If I was inclined to read as far into this guy's story as possible, I could take a great deal out about this fellow's perspective on women and the treatment of women. And because I don't trust him and know he would delight at taking my head, I'll read all the way in, and express the degree to which I despise him with ridicule.
In other words, women who are not covered, are a threat to Muslim men because they are truly liberated folks, the uncovered women.
Hmm, I think if we air dropped 100,000 Playboy mags over Baghdad we could probably win the hearts and souls of those sexually frustrated muslim men. I mean really, compare a smelly, hairy, mullah to a hot woman...who you gonna follow?
This statement is the "dirty little secret" that explains the "snakes in the heads" of Islamic men. I've seen the same thing in a few "Christian" men as well. This belief puts men in such a deep mental conflict that it makes them crazy.
So there you have it. Muslim men have no more self-control than a feral cat.
What, no sheep?
using the twisted thing called muslim-logic, the real root of this problem is simple.
If the muslim men were not in the country, the rapes would not have ocurred. Furthermore, if islam did not exist then the rapes would not have existed.
hey.. i like this mulsim-logic... if islam didn't exist, then 9-11 wouldn't have happened. Therefore, islam can no longer be allowed to exist.
When we lived in So Cal, in the eighties, there was an article in the LA Times, warning about the alarming increase in date rape cases, mostly perpetrated by Middle Eastern male students against white women. The article explained that the Middle Eastern men thought there was nothing wrong in raping a white woman because she was asking for it by the way she dressed and behaved. The article said that it was a cultural thing.
You know...I was thinking the same thing...Islamic dudes must not have to face much action in divorce court...no real attorney action...no pay-off to the wife. It would seem like every woman on the face of the earth would figure this deal out and work to bring Islam to an end.
I don't see any flies on them!
If I could find a picture of Gene Wilder with Daisy the sheep (suitably "clothed", of course) I'd post it :)
Yet, it's amazing how difficult it is to repopulate without them.
When I was 18 I went to a party with a friend. Many of the people were from the Middle East. My friend was Catholic, though. Not Muslim. I got a call from one guy later asking for a date. He lied and said my friend had given him my number. I went. It was obvious what he was after, so the date finished very early when I asked to go home. He apparently thought I was a tease because I had been so friendly dancing with everyone at the party. I just liked to dance. I even danced with a twelve year old boy with permission of his mom. It just seems an interesting mindset that dancing was considered a come on.
I hear the Imam loves his camel...
