I last posted on this in August after Beale (a Twin Cities businessman and former GOP activist) refused to show up for jury selection for his trial. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to a recent e-mail sent to family members, it sounds like he regrets his choices.

Comments or opinions - anyone?

Bob, Bob, Bob....You can mess with the mafia. You can mess with the IslamoFacists. You can even mess with Bubba. But nobody, NOBODY beats the IRS.

Al Capone was the King of Chicago. Money, babes, weapons. Untouchable. Teflon before they knew what Teflon was. And what finally took him down was tax evasion.

"..owes Uncle Sam $1.6 million.."

Maybe he is hiding out at Harry Reid's Nevada home getting real estate investment advice.

...prompting a federal manhunt for the North Oaks CEO who owes Uncle Sam $1.6 million.

That's the key to the illegal criminal problem! All we have to do is convince the government that the criminals that cross our border owe Uncle Sam money!
