More bogus election forms found

Hundreds of bogus address changes have surfaced at the St. Louis County Election Board, which is warning voters to make sure they get a polling-place notification card in the mail next week.

If the card doesn't show up, a voter's address may have been fraudulently changed without their knowledge, said Joseph Goeke, the county's Republican elections director.

Voters who don't get a card can call the election board or bring valid identification and proof of residence to the polls on Nov. 7, Goeke said.

"If you're at the correct polling place for your (correct) address, then you can vote," Goeke said. Advertisement

Board employees don't know exactly how many fraudulent address changes were submitted but estimate the number in the hundreds. And they fear they may not have caught all of them.

The address changes, with a voter's bogus signature, are among questionable or fraudulent voter registration cards turned in within the past couple of months.

The bogus registrations included at least one dead person and dozens of duplicates with false signatures and bogus or missing personal information, Goeke said.

County officials say most of the suspicious registrations and address changes were submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, which has mobilized huge voter registration drives across the nation and hired workers at $8 an hour to register new voters in Missouri.

ACORN already is under scrutiny for thousands of suspicious voter registrations submitted in the cities of St. Louis and Kansas City. It has been accused of turning in bogus registrations in other states.

The group's leaders don't set quotas for the workers, but some may have turned in made-up registrations or random address changes to make it appear they were working, said ACORN's national spokesman, Kevin Whelan.

I was slumming over at DU and saw where they posted this, just the top few lines, and had a fit that the Republicans were fixing the election. Seems to me they left out one key word in the post... ACORN. How they can try and say that this is a Republican attempt to throw an election with those idiots pulling this stuff is beyond me.

No wonder Dems do not want people to show ID when they vote - it would get in the way of all this voter fraud.

Damn, anywhere that dems have control, fraud is rampant.

Hey, this is St. Louis...in the fine state of Missouri which decided NO picture id is necessary to vote. St. Louis is on a fast tract to match Chicago in raising the dead.

How they can try and say that this is a Republican attempt to throw an election Easy. They are liars, and the ends always justify the means.

Any party trying to get away with this should have that chapter of their organization outlawed. Repub's, or Dems. If that means they cannot run a candidate in a particular State or District, so be it.

Isn't it amazing how these "voting
infringements" always occur in the
large cities of the Midwest!? As
a native Illinoian, I am immune to
any kind of news re cemetery voters,
et al. The Chicago Democrats were
so successful at this deVICE for so
many decades that the other mega-
polises have honed in on it.
'Course, they can always try another
"Florida Blue-haired disgruntled voter
unable to figure out the butterfly ballot"
ploy. But I do think extra precaution
should be taken to ensure the arrival
of those overseas absentee ballots!

There go those racist St. Louis Republicans again, trying to suppress voter turnout and deprive the Little People of their vote!

This is probably happening throughout the states. NO surprise this is the rat parties MO. And has been for yrs and yrs and yrs.

LBJ won the senate seat through complete fraud way back in the 40's. I think it was by just a hand full of votes coming out of South Texas.
