I saw that report...
And then later saw on Fox that the town was taken back...and I was really scratching my head over that!
CNN has admitted to lying about what happened in Iraq before the war....why would they stop now??
Counter Insurgency is not Total War. Different Mission, Different problems, different solutions. It would be wise if the Freeper Patton Wanna bes quit mindlessly regurgitating their macho boy Talk Radio Screamer's slogans and actually learn they facts ONE time.
Oh, I've already planned that....I was just hoping for a litte extra in my Christmas stocking....
Some forensic guys here with time on their hands should take a close look at this film. The insurgents are all about staging news and CNN is all about stooging news.
Doing a snuff film just to boost Murtha and Company would not be beyond them at all, and as we already know, CNN is composed of gullible suckers.
My son in Baghdad is bummed out, he lost 2 friends there this week. He's usually pretty upbeat, but not today. He's coming home soon.
Marking
Anderson Cooper is a Vanderbilt.
If the Commodore were alive, he'd take this little creep to the woodshed.
And to think when he hosted "The Mole," I found him adorable. Excuse me while I go pour bleach in my ear....
Thanks for the response. I do not believe the MSM. But I do have a sense we are bogged down. Just my hunch as an internet news junkie
Thank your son for his service from me and hopefully 299,999,999 other proud Americans. Loss is hard but the lord gave us strength to pull through any loss with his help.
Busted for covering for Saddam throughout the 1990s; busted for that phony Viet Nam "chemical warfare" story. . . Now add this to all the rest.
Yep. I guess ol' Ted's made up his mind which side of the war he's on. If CNN was anywhere in the real south other than Atlanta, the good ol' boys would have overrun the station for their showing of that video.
One of the dramatic things about the US military in Iraq is the fact that military deats are relatively small.
Less than half the deaths among the active-duty military during the war in Iraq died from causes related to the war. To my knowledge, not a single reporter or news outlet has picked up on this startling fact (it doesn't serve "the purpose").
I don't have the time to get the exact figures, but this is how I arrive at the conclusion:
After Gulf War I, JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association did a comparative study for a 12-month period that included the Gulf War (summer 1990-summer 1991). They found that casualties in Gulf War I numbered in the low hundreds, while total military deaths unrelated to the war were something like 1,392. Extrapolating to the present, allowing for a slightly smaller total military, the 42 months since Gulf War II began has probably resulted in about 4,000 non-combat deaths outside of Iraq and Afghanistan.
I'm not a cold-hearted armchair cynic. My son is currently in Iraq and is very PO'ed after losing two friends this week. For those families it's utterly catastrophic. But perspective nonetheless remains.
Thank you. I am adding your info to my armory
God bless your son.
He did. He was ripped.
"[Sponsors] always evaluate how their ad dollars are being spent"
Excellent suggestion! Don't call CNN, they'll tell you to F$#@ off. Hit them where they are vulnerable. Call their sponsors. Since half a broadcast hour is taken up with commercials anyway, you won't have to watch much disgusting CNN coverage to know who is advertising.
;^)
..ya know... I was thinking the very same thing....
I'd still like to have a site that would show all the 9-11 jumpers... all the building being hit and aftermath movies.
NO, we need to ban together and run them out of the country, looks like they're the enemy to me.
It's up to the American people to show how angry and repulsed we are by CNN's actions. Find out who owns CNN and "dump" their stock ASAP. IMO, that's the least we can do to support our troops.
