North Korea Nukes Clinton Legacy(Jan. 8, 2003)

The leftist media spin is that the current crisis in North Asia is the result of George W. Bush calling Pyongyang a member of the 'axis of evil.' In reality, the soft-line appeasement policy taken by Clinton against North Korea and China is what has led us to this point.

For example, former Clinton adviser Paul Begala, now serving as a talking head on CNN, claimed that the Clinton administration contained the threat from North Korea. Clearly, Mr. Begala missed the 1990s.

Of course, Mr. Begala simply forgot that Clinton's military chief of staff testified in 1998 that North Korea did not have an active ballistic missile program. One week later the North Koreans launched a missile over Japan that landed off the Alaska coast.

During the early Clinton years, hard-liners and so-called conservative hawks advocated a pre-emptive strike to halt North Korea's nuclear weapons development before it could field an atomic bomb. Instead of taking the hard line, President Clinton elected to rely on former President Jimmy Carter and decided to appease the Marxist-Stalinist dictatorship.

Carter met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il in Pyongyang and returned to America waving a piece of paper and declaring peace in our time. Kim, according to Carter, had agreed to stop his nuclear weapons development.

But he "tried"...Bush "didn't try". Don't ever forget that. And the Left won't let you as they pound that lie again and again.

Even after President Bush is out of office he will continue to get the blame for all the ills in the world, even though we can't blame Clinton for 9-11. Mark my words.

The commander of American forces in South Korea during the Clinton years, Gary Luck, begged for PAC-3s. He was denied them. Also ignored were GPALS, THAAD and upgraded Aegis Cruisers.

North Korea was working on a nuke long before Bush was ever president, and indeed the CIA believes he has at least 1 by 1999. So let's see, I guess Kim Jong Mentally Ill must have hired Ms. Cleo to look into the future for him and to see that years from thence the US president would call him evil. So Mentally Ill decided to get a jump on things and start building a nuke in the early 90s knowing that a US president a decade later would be calling his country evil. Yup, I'm sure that's how it worked!

Isn't this amazing? The North Korean test a nuke and the deranged US media and their Democratic puppeteers attack the president while absolving North Korea of all blame. When are these sick traitors going to stop making excuses for tyrannts? And when are we finally going to be able to start lining them all up in front of firing squads??

Clinton played poker with Kim Jong Il, placed the security of the United States on the table, and lost. FreeRepublic has rules against inappropriate language which I shall respect.

Clinton was the "Buchanan" of our times, and I'm not talking about the loopy guy from DC. I'm referring to James Buchanan our 15th POTUS. Both presidencies will be considered inconsequential, and both left their successors countless insurmountable problems that led to war.

Carter & Clinton essentially paid tribute... in hopes it would deter NK's quest for a nuke. It didn't, so Bush held up further payments... and here we are.

Yes, they look like cousins. One was a vile, dissolute, degenerate, and the other is a vile, dissolute, degenerate.

I feel confident that Billy Jeff will one day join the infamous ranks of those that are considered failed presidents. Buchanan, Pierce, Fillmore, carter, Van Buren and Clinton. We need a Mount Rushmore in the middle of a toxic dump with these failures chiseled into granite for eternity.

And for all the hippies out there who will say “N.Korea didn’t get nuke’s until Bush came around” I have one place for you to visit. OneFreeKorea has all the facts, including the fact that N.Korea was gathering the material to build a nuke DURING Clinton’s regime, right under his nose, and may have tested one in Pakistan in 1998. Rich Lowry said as much in 2003:

The answer to this question:

When are these sick traitors going to stop making excuses for tyrannts?

is the same as the answer to this question:

And when are we finally going to be able to start lining them all up in front of firing squads?

Just look at how leftscum gush over Chavez and Castro. Liberals and Democraps love socialist dictators because that's what they aspire to be themselves.

Incidentally, it is now abundantly clear to anyone with a brain (which of course leaves out most core Democrap voters) why the Democraps have fought GW every step of the way: So they could blame him for any failures by the US and any successes by our enemies in their all-consuming quest for personal power.
