I heard awhile back one of the last dry counties in Kansas was actually allowing restaurants to serve liquor! The travesty.

I don't know if it's urban legend but I'd hear back in the 1950's when I was a kid that airliners wouldn't serve drinks if they were flying over Kansas airspace!
