Anyone that believes this is 51 cards short in a deck. This is another national guard story, plame affair, that is put out there by the liberals. Will not work because most americans have made up their minds about the donks, and they do not like their leadership or the direction they will take this country. The donks are about to have their asses handed to them again this election.

I agree. It is another desperate attempt by the DBM to appear to make the eight months of George W. Bush's term more responsible for 9-11 than the eight years of Bill Clinton's terms. As I have said before, Presidents at least as far back as Jimmy Carter all could have done more to address terrorism.

Although 9-11 was one of the most horrible things that has ever happened to our country, I think that fighting over whose fault it was is completely missing the most important lesson we should have learned from that attack - THESE PEOPLE WANT TO KILL US AND DESTROY OUR WAY OF LIFE. It is imperative that we succeed in Iraq because that is where it appears that the jihadists have chosen to fight the infidels (namely the US and the rest of the civilized world). We can not afford to give them the victory they so desperately seek by giving up in Iraq before the mission is complete. They know that the only way that they can win is if they can get us to quit.

As long as President Bush is the POTUS, I know that HE will not quit, but if the Dems are able, by hook or crook, to steal enough seats to take over the HOR, they can cut off the funding as they did in Vietnam. WE MUST NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! For the first time, I am not too excited about voting for my own representative, Walter B. Jones, because he has recently become so critical of the war, but he is so strong on immigration and other issues that I can not seriously consider any other possibility. I do not think that he would vote to cut off the funds for the war because he is such a strong supporter of the military. I encourage all of my fellow freepers to go out and vote to keep these imperfect Republicans in office because our country can not afford to have the Democrats in power at this critical time.

What a lying pile of crap:

On June 23, both the FAA and the State Department issue terrorist warnings. State ordered all diplomatic posts to set up emergency action committees to deal with the threat of terrorist attacks. The CIA speculated that the most probable targets are in Europe. The State Department, the FAA, and the FBI will issue a total of eight separate warnings between June 22 and August 1. ----Washington Post!!!! YOUR OWN DONKEY NEWSPAPER, Bob WoodHEAD!, May.17.2002

On June 26, intelligence agencies inform the White House of a spike in terrorist communications about a possible strike on July 4. Both the State Department and the Pentagon issue more terrorist alerts. ----CHICAGO TRIBUNE reported the Navy ordered all ships in the Middle East OUT OF PORT ASAP.

According to the WASHINGTON DINGBAT POST WHICH HIRES HAS-BEEN LAZY BUTTS, a June 28 intelligence summary for National Security Adviser Rice states “It is highly likely a significant al-Qaeda attack is in the near future, within several weeks. THIS WAS WIDELY REPORTED AT THE TIME!!!!!!!!! --Usually between pages 8 and 37, depending upon the degree of incompetence of the local editors.

----But the Americann Poodle Press was focused like a laser beam on Gary Condit's escapades and the dire threat to humanity posed by sand sharks in Florida.
