Know Your Rights!
If Immigration Cames To Your House Or Where You Work:
If you're at work:
Don't get nervous. If you're undocumented, don't run! It's better to remain calm; it might be possible to leave calmly the area that Immigration may be occupying.
If you are a citizen/legal resident you can run to distract Immigration officers while your companions calmly leave the area. Tell Immigration you ran because you were afraid.
If you're at home:
DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. It is your RIGHT to demand a warrant that clearly states the name of the person they are looking for and that are from Immigration. If the officer does not show you the warrant, you do not have to open the door.
DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING and do not answer any questions from officers. n Do not show them any kind of document if they do not show you a warrant.
Do not let officers enter your house. If you let them in, you will lose some of your rights.
If you are detained:
Do not answer any questions you are asked by officers. Do not answer any questions as to where you were born or how you entered the United States even if they try to intimidate you. It is your right to remain silent but it's a good thing to know a little english and ask for an attorney. SIGN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY!
If you are arrested by Immigration:
Maintain your silence. Do not produce a document of any kind, unless it's a letter from an attorney. Above all, do not show any false documents, they may be used against you. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING.
If they do not provide you with an attorney, ask for a hearing with the nearest immigration court in your city so they don't transfer your case.
If you know Immigration is in the area of Pajaro Valley (Santa Cruz County, CA) it's better not to spread rumors unless you are 100% sure or you have been detained by Immigration. Call us at 831-331-1119.

There is some good advice here for all people. Like, not signing anything without a lawyer, and not letting gov't officials into your house. I guess that even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
Could be conspiracy to aid in committing a felony. Maybe SEIU should be charged.

The solution is so simple: Make it clear that the rights under our Constitution applies only to citizens, and to no one else. The U.S. can't create a document that is enforceable in, say, Sri Lanka. Why, then is it enforceable to a Sri Lankan here illegally?
That, and eliminate the anchor "baby" interpretation by a clear law stating otherwise, and most of our immigration problems disappear.
Yes, even including the a*****e "legal" resident who is advised to run in order to distract the authorities and thus aiding and abetting felonies to continue. Permanently deport a few of their butts and that, too, will come to a screeching halt!
