The Hidden Anger Of Bill Clinton
Investor's Business Daily ^ | Sep 25, 2006 | Paul Sperry

[snip]

I can commiserate with Wallace. Several years ago, as the Washington bureau chief of this newspaper, I also got full frontal Clinton — in my case, for daring to ask him about the Chinagate scandal.

It was the fall of 1999, the occasion a Cajun picnic for the Washington press corps on the South Lawn of the White House.

Clinton, the function's main attraction, was due to make an appearance at any moment. Despite the president's having to wade through 40-plus scandals over the previous seven years, my cohorts in the press were all atwitter at the prospect of pumping Clinton's arm and snapping shots of him with their spouses and kids.

Just 48 hours earlier, four FBI agents had testified before the Senate that Justice Department lawyers had stopped them from pursuing leads back to Clinton in the ongoing campaign-finance investigation.

Chinagate. I remember when Maverick POW John McCain came to Clinton's resuce by laying down his Campaign Finance Reform smokescreen.

I love this story. It finally shows, beyond any reasonable doubt, Mr. Clinton's lack of character. Remember when Mr. Clinton said "character is a journey." Oh really?

He is a seething megalomaniac who cares only for his image over the safety of his counry.

His political theory of success? My word, that is easily described, and here it is: Talk is precious, action is cheap.

"Fact is, Clinton can't handle the truth. It's a shame more reporters didn't challenge him while he was still in office abusing his power, .... and selling America out to the Chinese communists."

Worth reviewing the article behind this post. There are lots of Chinagate details therein that have faded from the national consciousness. And who better to raise our consciousness than Mia T.?

WOW, someone should get Sperry and Chris Wallace talking in the same forum about their experiences. The DBM will never want to cover it, but Bill Clinton should be called out on this kind of despicable behavior.

This is quite a tale of Clinton rage, and the fact that he truly avoids answering any of the questions by just parrying with diversions (oh, the FBI wants you to write about this instead of Waco) is revealing.... then trashing the reporter and the DBM lets Clinton and Lockhart get away with so blatantly attacking the "free press"..... imagine the Bush WH trying to ban a Helen Thomas or Jennifer Loven, both dishonest charlatans who have given infinitely more justification for a ban than Sperry ever could (except in lib eyes of course).

I've heard stories of Clinton's rage before. But this was interesting, well worth the read. Why didn't Clinton ever do us all a favor and erupt like that in front of voters while they still had the chance to vote him out?

Oh,it was great reading that again and remembering reading and discussing the Sperry confrontation. It was just another daily reminder of just what kind of sociopath half the American people had put in the White House. Sperry was a rare one, even then, though---few people had enough nerve to tangle with the Stainmaker at all. Clinton may get more and more touchy and nervous as he gets older and realizes he may have to face a big Interviewer some day that he can't intimidate....and I ain't talkin''bout Hillary.

Fox aired a clip from Jay Leno that was hilarious. They had a little girl interviewing Clinton about Santa Claus and used parts of Clinton's melt down with Wallace to answer her questions. Very funny, wish I could find a link to the clip.
Maybe a savvy freeper will have better luck!
Would be worth posting.

If Clinton ever faces another big interviewer it will be by mistake only.

He is an embarassment to our country and he truly has no shame. Think about it... what other President will ultimately be remembered for sticking a cigar into the vagina of a white house intern the same age group as his daughter?

It still amazes me to this day that so many gave him a complete pass. The President of the United States and his administration completely consumed with defending his personal weakness.

The man has no honor.
