[snip]
I can commiserate with Wallace. Several years ago, as the Washington bureau chief of this newspaper, I also got full frontal Clinton in my case, for daring to ask him about the Chinagate scandal.
It was the fall of 1999, the occasion a Cajun picnic for the Washington press corps on the South Lawn of the White House.
Clinton, the function's main attraction, was due to make an appearance at any moment. Despite the president's having to wade through 40-plus scandals over the previous seven years, my cohorts in the press were all atwitter at the prospect of pumping Clinton's arm and snapping shots of him with their spouses and kids.
Just 48 hours earlier, four FBI agents had testified before the Senate that Justice Department lawyers had stopped them from pursuing leads back to Clinton in the ongoing campaign-finance investigation.

Chinagate. I remember when Maverick POW John McCain came to Clinton's resuce by laying down his Campaign Finance Reform smokescreen.

I love this story. It finally shows, beyond any reasonable doubt, Mr. Clinton's lack of character. Remember when Mr. Clinton said "character is a journey." Oh really?
He is a seething megalomaniac who cares only for his image over the safety of his counry.
His political theory of success? My word, that is easily described, and here it is: Talk is precious, action is cheap.

"Fact is, Clinton can't handle the truth. It's a shame more reporters didn't challenge him while he was still in office abusing his power, .... and selling America out to the Chinese communists."

Worth reviewing the article behind this post. There are lots of Chinagate details therein that have faded from the national consciousness. And who better to raise our consciousness than Mia T.?

I seem to remember him kooking out on a reporter in Europe recently, but I can't find anything on it.

Or, the SS agent or maybe it was a FBI agent that was in his way. Our fine 15 pound toting Bible Christian let loose with a string of profanity that would make a gangsta blush!
To: monocle
Bill and Hillary actually got into an argument on their way to the inauguration.

Mr. Clinton said "character is a journey." About time he got on with it then.
